I told Isabella everything while she was eating her usual mid day snack. (she eats a lot. or should i say, she inhales her food.) Well, everything that was appropriate for her to know.
it didn't seem to phase her much, she basically shrugged it off. As if she forgave him that quickly.
If only she knew..
She continued eating as if nothing happened. then she looked at me and raised an eyebrow as if she were trying to put the puzzle peices together.
"so why don't we look for him?" she asked
As if it was completely ridiculous that he's not with us. That he could actually contribute something to this family. and we could live happily ever after.
"He doesn't want to see us, Bell."
"Why would you think that? How could you think that? Daddies are nice! And now i know who mine is and no one should keep him away Harrison."
She looked at me like she was completely disgusted by answer.
"that's not fair Harrison. Im telling mom."
"NO NO NO, NOT A GOOD IDEA," I yelled. "this is our own secret okay? do you want me to get in trouble?"
She stared at me, blankly. Then i saw her eyes turn dark, my little Isabella who was scared to get in trouble and was once so close to me said:
"i don't care anymore, Harrison."
