The Resurrected and Murphy

Lexa's POV:

I think Tessa is semi back to her old self. She's not as reckless and she smiles more often now. Trust me she's still a bitch, but I just think that's her personality.We were driving in the middle of no where when King Murphy had to pee. While he's doing his thing the rest of us start to gossip.

No Z's in sight ," Mack said getting in the back of the truck.

"Anybody else worried about Mr.Sunshine out there?" Doc said

"Nope not really he's the least of my problems," Tessa said. I giggled.

"I know he's looking worse," Garnett said dismissing Tessa's comet.

"Yeah he was pretty creepy to start with," Warren said. Me and Tessa burst into a fit of laughter. Murphy look back at us and we just smile and wave.

"Come on guys give him a break, It's the apocalypse none of us look our best. It's like one long bad hair day," Addy said

"Speaking of hair what's with all the bald patches?"Mack questioned.

"Maybe that vaccine is like zombie cemo," Cassandra said.

"Or maybe the vaccine isn't working," 10K said. I slid my hand into his and he started massaging circles on my knuckles. I've know this guy for like 2 months now and we still haven't had our first kiss. I mean I like taking it slow with him. Because I want this to last forever. He makes me feel things that I have never felt before. And if I'm being honest it scares me. I don't like new stuff, and all of these feelings are new. I snap back to reality when 10K placed his hand on my cheek. I blushed and looked down.

"Where about to leave. You looked out of it, are you ok?"10K asked stroking my cheek. I finally look up to him and smile.

"I'm more than ok," We hop into the back of the truck along with Tessa, Addy, and Mack.

"So where are we headed?" I yelled knocking on the back window.

"Province Town!" Garnett yelled back.

"Where the hell is that?" questioned Tessa.

"About an hour and a half away," Warren said.

"Ok," I said sitting down next to 10K. I put my head on his shoulder and closed my eyes. I feel asleep not long after.

Tessa POV:

We finally made it to Province Town. From the outside the place looked like a dump. I stood up and read the sign by the gate: No weapons beyond this point . Oh Hell to the no.

"Lexa wake your ass up," I said lightly kicking her foot.

"Are we here?" She questioned rubbing the sleep from her eyes.

"Yea and the sign says no weapons aloud, do you still have those 'hair pins'?"

"Yea they're in my bag hold up," She says digging through her bag. She grabs the extremely sharp wooden hair pins and gave them to me. I pulled my hair back and stuck it in making sure not to hurt myself. I gave the other one to Lexa and she did the same. After a long conversation between Garnett and the guy in charge of this place, I think his name is Joe or John Williams but I'm not sure which one, we had to up all of our weapons. The guy checking the weapons looked at the amount of weapons I have in disbelief.

"How can you carry nearly 20 weapons on you at all times?"

"You have to get crafty, let's just leave it at that," I smiled. Some girl with a metal detector came up to me and scanned me up and down. Thank god the pins are wood. I walked to where the rest of the group is. The inside of this place looks so much nicer than the outside. People are laughing and kids are playing. Its peaceful.
