"What the fuck?!" Ty shouted and got up.

I just looked at my parents. I was confused as hell.

"Tyrone what have I told you about that language?" My dad said sternly.

"Fuck that dad. I got an older sister that I never knew about and you wanna talk that bullshit?" He shouted.

"Fuck you both, I'm out." He said grabbing his keys and phone then heading out the door.

"Tyrone..." I said.

"Wait ty." Jordyn said holding his arm.

He pulled it out of her grip and left.

What just happened really just hit me.

I have an older sister. But my question was Why did my parents keep it this long? It didn't seem like they were gonna tell us anytime soon because she was the one who came to us.

Every second went by and I was getting angrier and upset by the moment.

My mom looked at me with apologetic eyes.
"Why mom? Why dad? Why didn't you tell us?" I said tearing up.

My mom sighed heavily.

I grabbed my bag, keys and phone and ran out the door also.

I heard them calling my name behind me but I was running to fast.

I just kept running and running into different streets making sure not to run back into mine.

The noise was gone. I brought out my phone and called Kennedy.

As it was ringing I felt so betrayed I didn't even know how to say how I felt.

Ken: Mani, at this time of night?
She's right. It was like 11:30 right now.
Me: I'm sorry K. I left my parents house I can't go back there for now . They're liars.
I started crying on the phone.
Ken: Oh my God, Mani. What happened?
Me: I found out I had an older sister that my so called parents never told me about .
Ken: Oh Mani I'm so sorry best friend. Where are you im coming to pick you up.
Me: You sure? You live with Tj I don't think he'd want me in his property.
Ken: If he want you out, I'm gonna be out too.
I giggled and told her my location.
Ken: I'll be there in 2. I love you sis.
Me: I love you too.
And she hung up.

I called Ty, but it went to voicemail. I started getting worried and texted him instead.

Me: Bro, were the hell are you?
Me: Ty!
Me: You really making yo sis out here worried .

I didn't know what else to do.
I saw Kennedy's car pull up on the street. I got in and she gave me a hug.

"What a night!" I said sarcastically.
I told her about what happened with my sister situation and also the Chris situation.

He'd been blowing up my phone but i ain't feel like talking to him for some reason. I don't even know why I was being this petty.

We arrived at Tj and K's home. I'd been there before but I wasn't sure on how Tj was gonna react to me staying the night.
"K, you sure he ain't gonna feel some type of way?" I said looking uneasy.

"Don't worry Mani." She said.
She took me up to the guest room. It had its bathroom so in the morning I didn't have to bother anyone .

"Um k, I didn't bring any clothes." I stupidly said.

"You could always wear mine . Don't be worrying sis." She said helping me fix the bed.

She left and got me some pjs. When she came back I changed into them .

"Well I guess your set. I'll wake you up in the morning ." She said.

"Ok. Goodnight K." I said smiling.

"Goodnight Mani." She said.

"Wait." I said. I climbed over the bed and gave her a big hug and kissed her cheek.

"Thank you so much." I said

"It's nothing but your welcome. Anytime, I'm always gonna help my sis . Now get some sleep, you've got a boy to impress after school tomorrow." She said smacking my ass.

"Girlll, you play too much ." I said laughing.

"Goodnight." She said as she left.
I smiled to myself and got in bed.

I started to think about Chris. There was something about him that I really like ( apart from his lips😩) but I can't put my finger on it.

As I was on that thought, my phone started ringing. It was Ty.

Me: Ty where the heck are you huh ?
Ty: Dang chill. I'm at a friends house. Where are you?
Me: At Kennedy's.
Ty: And you know she's got a man?
Me: yep.
Me: Ty? .... Can you believe mom and dad?
Ty: *sigh* I ain't even know what to think right now . When were they gonna tell us?
Me: I know I know.
Ty: I'm beyond pissed right now. Sis you know what , get some sleep, we'll talk in the morning .
Me: ok bye ty. Love you
Ty: Love you too sis.

I couldn't believe our parents kept something like this for so long. It's not like we're little kids . We're goddamn 17 and 18 years of age.

I took a deep sigh and decided to get some shut eye.
