The Sweetest Girl -Sweet Pea

Chapter 11

It was Monday and I was waiting for Cody to walked into school, bag slung over his shoulder, looking lost.

"You look lost." I said crossing my arms.

"That's because I am... It's good to see you." He said as I smiled.

"You too. Come on, I'm your guide for today. Usually it's Betty but I'm your best friend." I said walking.

"Best friend?"

"Come on nerd!" I said as he ran after me.

After showing Cody around we made it to the lounge room.

"And this is the lounge room, vending machines don't knock this one over."

"I'll try not too." He said.

We sat down as Sweet Pea, Toni, and Fangs came in.

"Hey babe." I said going over to kiss him.

"Hey... Who's this?" Sweet Pea asked.

"Babe, Fangs Toni this is my friend Cody he's new." I said.

"Nice to meet you." Cody said getting up as Sweet Pea pulled me closer to him.

"Sweet Pea. Bella's boyfriend." I rolled my eyes as I pecked his cheek.

"I'm Toni and this is Fangs."

"Cody."

We sat back down as I sent Cheryl a text but gained no reply.

"Are we going to the Wyrm tonight?" I asked tracing Sweet Pea's tattoo.

"Yup, right after school." Fangs nodded.

"What's the Wyrm?" Cody asked.

"A place where the Serpents hanged... You know the ones you said were scary." I said.

"Hey! In my defense they were on bikes and giving me scary looks." Cody said as the bell rung.

Sweet Pea helped me up, as other students left.

"You sure your ready to go to class?" Sweet Pea asked as I placed a hand on his chest.

"Yes. Just because I see things doesn't mean I can't go to class... Come on." I said pulling him away.

       After school we made our way to the Wyrm.

"Why does he have to come?" Sweet Pea asked as we walked towards the Wyrm.

"Because he's my friend and FP says it's alright." I said.

Once we got inside, serpents stood around and argued.

"What's going on?"

"We all got the eviction notices, but I swear to you... No one is goin' anywhere." Said FP.

"But the heats been on us since Pickens Day and they're using that damn statue as an excuse to turn it up."

"But if we're gonna fix this, I gotta ask: Is anyone in this room responsible for cutting off Pickens' head?" FP asked as everyone stood quiet.

"Why don't you ask your son what he has to say." Tall Boy said.

"What's your problem with me, Tall Boy?" Asked Jughead.

"You wrote the article that started this mess. You and your posse fired the opening shot at Pickens Day." Said Tall Boy as Sweet Pea pulled my arm off of him stepping up to Tall Boy.

"It was a peaceful protest, Turncoat."  Toni said as I touched her shoulder.

"That accomplished nothing." Tall Boy said as I got irrated rubbing my forehead.

"So what's to say that you and your boyfriend didn't go back that night with a ladder and hacksaw."

"Hey! We didn't do it." Jughead said making his way to Tall Boy.

"Hell, Tall Boy, you're the tallest guy in this room... You wouldn't even need the latter!" I said stepping with Jughead.

"Fuck off, Northsider."

"Jughead, Bella, Tall Boy, the last thing we need right now is to turn on each other." FP said stopping us.

"Hey. We'll find a way out of this." FP told Jughead.

I went back to Sweet Pea going into his arms, resting my head on his chest.

"I need a release." I said before dragging him to the bathroom.

     I fixed my hair and make-up as Sweet Pea pulled on his jacket.

"Where should we do it next? The park?" Sweet Pea asked as I smirked.

"It was a one time thing. It stays in the bedroom now." I said giving him a kiss.

"I love you, ya know." He said as I smiled.

"I know. I love you too." I said as he pulled me into his arms.

"I think it's time for you and Cody to go home." He said as I gave him a look.

"It's only 5:00 and I don't have to be home until 10:00." I said.

"Just for a couple of days can you please, go home early just incase something bad happens." Sweet Pea said.

"Alright, but your driving us. My cars at home." I said pulling him away.

We walked out to see Cody talking to Fangs.

"Time to go home." I said dragging him away.

We dropped Cody off then made our way to my place.

Dad and Archie weren't home so it was just me.

"I'll stay with you until someone comes home." Sweet Pea said.

I nodded as we got out then we went inside up to my room.

I fell on my bed and grabbed a pillow to cuddle with.

"Hey!" Sweet Pea said arms crossed.

"What?!" I groaned.

"Put that pillow behind your head and move over so I can cuddle with you."

I giggled moving over as Sweet Pea crawled in beside me.

"Now, come give me kisses." Sweet Pea said as I did wrapping my arms around his neck.
