EPISODE 14 "Nobody Said this was Easy"

The seven remaining contestants make it back to camp, but no one is ready to sleep. It is game on and everyone has something to say. TDFan goes to the fire to express his relief at the vote.

TDFan: Thank god lizard is gone! He was the biggest threat, and his exit "speech" made me think he is BP. Also, I MADE FINAL 7!!!! My main goal was jury, and I've done it! It kinda sucks being on vacation and being inactive, but I'll be back home in two days, so I'll start playing my heart out then.

Ari lays down in the shelter to go to sleep, but Ryebuck walks right up to her and tries to figure out why she got an idol played on her.

Ryebuck: Hey can I ask why you got stones played on you?

Ari: I don't know. I expressed being worried about tonight, but I wasn't informed about the gems.

Ryebuck: Okay, well I guess better safe than sorry. But it was always going to be Lizard if they lost.

Ari: Yeah that's why you went and told him he was the target. Or am I mistaken, Ryebuck?

There is a very tense moment between the two, but their conversation eventually resumes as the camera dissolves to Ryebuck's confessional detailing what happened during the vote and why Ari was nervous.

Ryebuck: so today the main goal was just to make Lizard king lose. If it didn't I had made the backup plan to vote Donnie out. I first went to Lizard, 12345 and Galactica and told them how Donnie is Sonaht closest ally and has a final deal with them. immediately after Lizard tells me Donnie wants me gone for the same reason, more lies they were spreading. When lizard lost the first round the plan went back to them. galactica, amd Thanos o knew voted with me but I wasn't sure about the others. I know 12345 voted Sonaht. Then eventually Lizard goes home yay. after that Donnie comes to me and tells me how lizard told them that I was throwing their name out. They also showed that they know who I am, so I told them they were Ari, and like true Ari fashion they disagreed and sounded offended that the other person was correct. They then say they don't trust me from my pay season because I am a flipper.... yay repeats of Brazil, and that's why they got an idol played for them. so my little army of underdogs has majority now. The others have no idea about it. sonaht still has 2 more stones so I need to find the others before they can play idols for themself. They still trust me though which is great. So first preference is Donnie and Sonaht to go next, and hopefully I can split votes on them next time to guarantee one of them go home.

James goes down to the beach where he stares into the night sky reflecting on how he could've avoided having to play three infinity stones at one tribal council.

James: Well I didn't need to play any stones at all. F--k. Oh well it means more looking tomorrow. It's not like anyone else is looking. There's still the chance of me getting all 6 stones and I'll do my best. I played them on Donnie cause he got caught in a lie and wasn't sure who was getting votes, or how many people Lizard had convinced.

As a new day dawns, a gem hunt once again takes place, as has become commonplace with this season.

Kyle strikes first and hard. He gets the power stone, and then he finds the reality stone.

Kyle: YO NO WAY. 11 minutes. Briar I'm catching up on you.

James would strike back though, he then quickly finds the soul stone and the time stone, bringing his total back to 4.

James: So oof. I went from 5 gems to 4. I can't find the reality and now there's the possibility of Pam having an idol.

When they get back from gem hunting, Kyle starts to make a long solo trek up the mountain as an instrumental of the main Avatar the Last Airbender theme plays. When he reaches the top of the mountain, he looks out into the distance.
