This chapter is the story from Taehyung's perspective

(first day of the university)

The entire crowd stood up cheering and clapping but I was glued to my seat in awe, mesmerized by the girl standing at the podium on the stage. She was not the kind of girl I usually fantasized about. For starters, her appearance was far from my ideal type. 

She had a curvy figure, medium height, brown wavy hair and I've always liked skinny, tall girls with long straight hair but there was something about her that captivated me. With a slightly confident smile and a personality that screamed intelligence from distance, she was more beautiful than the winter's sun above the pristine white snow.

"Yaah Taehyung" Veronica nudged me making me snap out of my thoughts and pulling me up to stand along with her.

"Wow, that was an awesome speech," I praised the girl who was gracefully climbing down from the stage.

"You can't expect less from the representative of the freshers" my eyes went wide at the information I just received.

"She is ??" I questioned Veronica in curiosity as we took our seats.

"Where was your mind when she started the speech?" Veronica frowned at me and I gave her a sheepish smile recalling how important it was for me to win the battle in my phone at the beginning of her. talk

"Tell me more about her?" I asked her in excitement wanting to know more about the girl ignoring her previous question.

"Do you live under a cave?  The entire campus knows her. Her name is Yun Hana. She passed the entrance with the highest score among freshers, she is from Busan..." I listened to her with utmost concentration as if she was giving me critical information that my future depended on.

"She is beauty with brains" She wiggled her eyebrows making me huff in laughter.

"Yah Veronica do me a favor" I gave her a playful smile "What ??" She questioned me in an annoyed tone.

"Can get me her number?" I pleaded with her with a pout.

A few days later

"Taehyung!" I turned around to where the sound came from and found Veronica running towards me. She was heaving trying to catch her breath as she reached beside me.

"Bad news," She said still breathing heavily putting her hand on her chest.

"What??"

"Hana... she has a boyfriend" She began and sadness quickly spread within me.

"And a very hot one" She finished.

"Ohh" I hung my head low in disappointment and she gave me a playful smack on my back.

 "Cheer up buddy, there are so many pretty girls on the campus, and being the heartthrob you can get any other girl" I just nodded my head giving her a fake smile but internally I could feel my heart sinking in sadness.

"but not her" I mentally groaned wondering why was I stuck on her.

2 months after Jimin and Hana's breakup

I was in my house playing a video game when the buzzing of my cell phone echoed in my room. I took the phone which was beside me without removing my eyes that were fixed on the screen and answered it.

"What??" I asked without even bothering to look at the caller id.

"Hana broke up with her boyfriend 2 months ago" Veronica's screaming voice pierced my ears from the other side and my attention was all shifted to her.
