promotion: being a pawn he has the ability to 'promote' to a rook,knight,bishop or queen with his kings permission tho he has a badge that allows him to promote solo if needed

Magic: mako is profishint in healing and ice magic he is some what almost as good as Greyfia but is still learning from her
