From the Moment I Met You (One Direction Fan Fiction)

Prologue

Courtney Payne and Alison Swift were best friends. Courtney was Liam Payne’s little sister. Yes, Liam Payne as in the dude from One Direction. Courtney had long brown hair and gorgeous brown eyes just like her brother. Alison had long blonde hair and striking blue eyes. She was best friends with Harry Styles. Four years ago, Courtney and Alison left London and studied in America. Courtney left right after Liam went to boot camp.

--- Flashback ---

It was a cold and misty afternoon. Liam’s leaving for X - Factor. The bus was almost leaving. The two siblings stood their near the bus. Their parents were getting Liam’s luggage out of the car.

“I’m sure going to miss you Liam.” Courtney said, fighting back the tears. Her big brother was leaving her. She was devastated. She was happy for him but was sad for herself that she won’t be able to see each other for quite a while. Liam was like her best friend. They had been very close ever since she was born. She was even the one that encouraged Liam to audition for X – Factor.

“I’m going to miss you too sis.” Liam said as he pulled Courtney into a hug. He was sad upon leaving her little sister. He was very protective of her and couldn’t stand leaving her even for a while.

“Here’s the last of your luggage Liam!” their father got the last bag and placed it on the ground as the two pulled away from the hug.

“Bye Honey! We’ll miss you,” their mom said with a small grin as she ruffled Liam’s hair and hugged him

“Bye Mom.” He gave their mom a smile and hugged her back

“Bye son.” Their father smiled and gave his boy a hug

“Bye dad.”

“Bye Li” her sister gave him a smile and hugged him tight

“Bye Court. Do well in America. We’ll always talk to each other. I promise and I also promise to come to my little sister’s graduation.” Liam said as he messed up Courtney’s hair a bit.

“You promise?” Courtney asked, hoping that her brother will be there when she was given her diploma.

“I promise!” Liam said and gave his sister a reassuring smile. Then, he went up the steps of the bus. He sat down near a window seat and waved good bye to his family. Courtney and their mother were holding back tears. They all gave Liam a smile and waved back. The bus drove down the road and slowly disappeared into the mist.

Harry and Alison also said good bye to each other because Harry was also leaving for X – Factor.

--- Another Flashback --- (A/N: Sorry for so many flashbacks. It’s just to give you an idea of their past)

Alison and Harry stood near the bus stop on one cold afternoon. They were waiting for the bus to get ready for the trip to the X – Factor Boot Camp.

“I’m really going to miss you Harry.” Alison said. She really was. She and Harry were best friends since forever! They were inseparable. They were like Milk and Cookies, Peanut butter and Jelly and well, you get the point. They were very close. Like brothers and sisters.

“I’m going to miss you too.” Harry answered back sadly, his hands on Alison’s shoulders.

 “Go and win. For me, ok?” said Alison. A smile slowly appearing on her face

“I’ll try Allie.” Harry chuckled and gave her a big hug. Harry was really going to miss her too. They had a lot of happy memories. Alison was happy for her best friend.  He really deserved the spot on X – Factor. It’s just that she’ll miss him a lot. She fought back the tears. But one escaped and rolled down her cheek. Harry noticed.

“Hey. Don’t cry Allie. I promise I’ll come to your graduation.” Harry said, giving her a reassuring smile and wiping the tear on her cheek

“Really? You promise?”  Alison asked her best friend.

“Yes! I will. When you graduate, I’m going to go get you in California and take you back here. I promise!” said Harry. Alison smiled at him.

Just then, the bus driver told everyone that the bus will leave in five minutes. Alison frowned a bit.

“Before I forget, here!” Harry reached in his pocket and pulled out a necklace. It was a Yin and Yang necklace. Harry gave Alison the white one.

“What’s this for?”

“This will remind you that I will always be with you. I have the other half.” Harry smiled, fixing the necklace on her neck. Then, he showed the other half of the necklace to her. His half was a more boyish version off the necklace. It was beautiful. The circle in the middle had a small diamond on it and had something engraved at the back. “Best Friends Forever & Always” was written in small lettering.

“Thanks Harry. I’ll always wear it.”Alison said cheerfully as she fiddled with it. She was smiling at Harry and Harry smiled at her too.

“Come on! Get on the bus!” shouted the driver.

“I better go now. I’ll miss you Allie. We’ll text, call and video chat every day, right?” asked Harry

“Of course! I’m going to miss you too Hazz.”

Harry gave her a big hug.

“Now go before the bus leaves.” Alison smiled, trying to hide her tears.

Harry gave her another hug and a kiss on the cheek. He hopped on the first step of the bus.

“Forever & Always Allie! Forever & Always…” He was also trying to hide his tears. He got in the bus and found a seat near the window. He was looking at Alison. Then the bus started to leave. Alison gave Harry two thumbs up, a small smile and waved.
