"The fall"

As you were laying on your bed you get a text from your buddy Chris saying that he was going to a party and he wanted to see if you wanted to go.

You text back saying that you wanted to know where the party is?

Chris: I'll tell you if you come.

You look at your phone and start shaking your head before you start typing "fine".

Chris: Sweet, ok meet me at my house Saturday and we'll get going.

(Couple days later)

You call Chris saying where he is. Every time you call it goes straight to voicemail until you finally get a ring from your phone.

(Y/N): Hey asshole where you at I've been sitting at your house for a couple hours now.

Chris: I'll be there shortly I've just gotten out of work.

You roll your eyes and sit for another hour until Chris comes driving up and parks his car in the driveway.

Chris: you ready

(Y/N): I've been here for 3 hours of course I'm ready. Let's go.

You and Chris jump into his car and start driving toward the place and you start to wonder "I still don't know where I am going"

Chris: We're heading up to mount ebott. Some of my other friends are having a party that's why I invited you

You look surprised like your friend just read your mind but then you start to settle like you were trying to think of ways to introduce yourself to his friends. You get so lost in your thoughts that time goes by so fast that you didn't even notice that you were at the party.

Chris: Hey stop daydreaming we're here. Grab what you need from my car and head to the party.

You get out of the car and start to walk the trail that leads to the party. You start to see a little glow of light and you start heading towards it. The light gets bigger and you start to hear voices. It goes from 1 voice to 2 voices then you start to hear 5 voices. You get to the party and there is booze and snacks everywhere. You look around and see that everyone is to drunk to talk to or even stand around them so you start to walk around.

Chris:Hey if I was you I wouldn't wandered to far from here once you get lost in the woods it's hard to get out.

You look at him and shake your head saying alright. You start down a trail that leads farther into the woods.

(Couple minutes later)

(Y/N): I knew that there were going to be drunk people at this party. Damn I'm to cold to thi-

As you were talking you see a faint light in the distance. You walk closer and closer as you do you go farther and farther away from the trail. As you reach the light you start to see a giant hole in the ground that looks like it has no end to it. You look around to see where you are and you have no clue.

(Y/N): Dammit I knew that Chris told me not to get lost but I still get lost.

Again, as you're talking you see another faint light that is closer to you. You walk close to the light and again it disappears.

(Y/N): what am I doing I'm just running around a giant hole in the ground chasing lights.

You look down the hole and you still don't see anything.

(Y/N): Alright I better just lea-

As you're walking away you feel a push on your stomach and start to fall backwards into the giant hole. You see a strange person standing over you as you fall. All you saw of them were their lime green hoodie and red checks.
