"The Waking"

RUN!! RUN!!! "Help I cant get away, somebody PLEASE HELP ME!!!!"

You jump out of the bed in a cold sweat. You're looking around all worried and don't know what to do. Chara runs into your room and asks to see if you're alright.

(Y/N): I'm fine just had a nightmare.

Chara: Must've been pretty serious, I could hear you from the kitchen.

You look at her surprised and say thanks for worrying about you.

(Y/N): W-where's Asriel?

Chara: he's at his post right now being careful about all the things going on.

(Y/N): Ah ok, aren't you supposed to be at your post to?

Chara: well yes and no, I gotta take care of you and be at my post but I think Asriel can take care of it.

You look at her nervously as you try and stand up to stretch.

Chara: you shouldn't do that just yet but if you want to then you can do a couple things for me.

You try to sit back down but your body refused, like your muscles couldn't do what they're supposed to do. You look at her and see what she needs because you can't move.

Chara: that's fantastic I want you to go grab a couple things from the store for me. I'm going to give you a list of things. The store is just right down the street.

You feel your muscles start to move again, since you couldn't sit back down you grabbed the piece of paper from her hands and read it through.

(Y/N): So you need milk, and some food for today and that's it?

Chara: yup that's it.

You look at chara than back down at the piece of paper.

(Y/N): couldn't you do this your-

As you were finishing your sentence she was gone, not a trace of her remand. You get up and look around the room and couldn't find her. You go look around in the living and she is still not there. You give up quickly because you're still new to the whole monster thing. You remembered your dad talking about how there was an underground where monsters lived because humans trapped them down there. You never believed in that story until you finally saw it for yourself. As you got done looking around for chara you hear a knock at the door. You answer and there this big dog looking person that looks like Asriel.

???: hello, how are you

(Y/N): I-I'm doing good, w-who are y-you?

???: ah my bad my name is asgore I'm the royal scientist here in the underground. How are you supposed to be?

(Y/N): I'm a human that fell and got beaten up pretty bad. My name is (Y/N) and I'm sorry for bothering you today.

As you say those words Asgore's face lights up in terror.

Asgore: yo-you're a human?!

(Y/N): uh yes

Asgore races out of the house and runs as far as possible until he was out of breathe. You don't bother on chasing because it would've been a waist of time so you just stay where you are, close the door then sit on the coach.

(Y/N): I feel like I'm forgetting something?

You look around to see if you forgot anything, you remembered that you had to get some stuff for chara. You race out the door and go to where chara told you to go.

(Half hour later)

You finally get to the store and walk in to see if there's the stuff you need. You grab the milk then the food. You go up to the register to buy, but there's no one there. You look around but it's a ghost town. You take a bag to carry your stuff and walk out the door. You go back to the house and see that there are 2 people standing at the door Chara and Asriel at the door. You go running up to see why they didn't go into the house yet. You see that the door is broken down and that the inside of the house is all messed up.

(Y/N): what happened here?

Chara and Asriel at the same time say toriel. You look at them confused and see that there is a flaming spear hooked to the coach with a note on the table. You walk inside grab the note and it reads (if you don't give us the human then this whole house is coming down with you people in it.) Asriel goes inside the house to clean up the mess leaving you and chara outside in the cold.

(Y/N): why do they hate me?

Chara: it's because the last human that fell wiped out most of the monsters that lived down here.

You look terrified and start to panic.

(Y/N): What am I supposed to do. I haven't hurt anyone. Am I going to die.

You keep talking then you feel something hot touch your neck. It's a red knife that's to close. It's coming from chara's hand, she looks at you with a stone cold face about to kill you.

(Y/N): is this how I die. By somebody cute. I haven't even hurt anybody yet

Chara: don't think sweet talk will do anything for you. You don't know how many kids I had to kill because of what they're souls could do. We could escape finally.

As she said that the knife started to fade from her hand and she starred at the ground for a while until she started to walk inside the house.
