🌸Lockdown🌸

It was an ordinary day in school nothing much going on I was just in class answering questions from the text book the usual. I sit next to the loner girl in my school, hers names Juvia lockser and she has no friends and is bullied by everyone. I feel sorry for her so that's why I volunteered to sit next to her because no one else would.

All of a sudden our siren blasted for more then 5 seconds which means lockdown. 
"Alright students don't panic" Miss Strauss said "Now quietly move to the back of the room and stay down on the floor" she said as she turned the lights off.
Everyone moved to the back of the classroom and hid close to the floor. Miss got a text from the other teachers
"Students this is not a drill a mentally unstable man has entered the school and may or may not be armed" Miss said.

We all looked at each other to see our classmates reactions. I felt the person next to me shaking I turned my head and it was Juvia, she was hugging her knees close to her chest and rocking back and forth mumbling something but I couldn't hear it. After about tens minutes of silence everyone was calmed down including Juvia, she stop rocking and relaxed her body letting go of her knees.

"Ahhhh ahhhh!!!" We heard a manic scream coming from the hallway it was the man. Juvia instantly bursted into tears while a few other girls were just sobbing. The screaming continued while the man started hitting the lockers.
He yelled "I'm going to kill you all" at this point everyone in our class were fearing for their lives. The screaming got louder as he got to our classroom door banging on it. Juvia clutched into my arm so hard it hurt I flinched from shock. She was terrified more then anyone else in the room.

The man eventually walked away from our door and continued down the hall. It got calmer as his voice faded in the distance. My heart was beating so fast but soon slowed down. Miss got a text from the other teachers
"It's okay now the man has left our school grounds and we have informed the police. You may return to your seats" she said as she got up and turned the lights back on.
Everybody got up and returned to their seats except for me and Juvia. Juvia was still crying clinging on my arm so hard I couldn't move. Everyone was looking at us.

"Come on he's gone what are still crying for?" One students asked in a mean tone
"Enough let her be Simon" Miss Strauss said. Everyone turned around and started working again.
"Hey it's alright he's gone" I said to Juvia in a gentle tone putting my free arm on her head stroking her hair. She stopped crying loosening the grib in my arm.
"S-sorry" she sobbed
"It's fine you looked pretty terrified" I said
"I-it j-just brought back o-old m-memories" She stuttered
"What happened?" I asked, she started crying again
"Hey you don't have to tell me" I brought her to my chest in a hug.

"W-when I-I was i-in g-grade 6" she started "w-we had a school lockdown a-and I w-was in the b-bathroom when I-it happened. I ran to my classroom to get inside b-but but" she was crying harder now.
"It's okay breath breath" I comforted her
"I r-ran i-into a m-man and he p-pointed a-a g-g-gun at me" she was trembling.
"So that's why you were freaking out" I said and she nodded
"Y-yes"
"Okay do you want it go get a drink and calm yourself?" I asked and she nodded
"C-can you came with m-me?" She asked
"Of coarse" I stood up and helped her to her feet and gave her a big hug.
"Miss can we get a drink?" I asked Miss Strauss
"Okay but stay together you two" she said
We nodded and I led Juvia out the door.

We walked down the hall to the water fountain. Juvia got and drink and we walked down to the toilet.
"Can you wait there for me?" She asked
"Sure" I said and she went inside. Once she was done we walked back to the classroom and sat down in our seats earning weird looks for our peers. Well they mostly looked at Juvia about how she acted before but I have them all death glares and everyone looked away.

"Thank you" She said
"No problem" I smiled at her and she smiled back. The bell went indicating class was over and lunch has started. We sat together at lunch and we had a great time and got to know each other better. We become great friends and one day maybe even more.
