Chapter#69 - The Moon curse

Mary's P.O.V 

I walked out of the common room that morning, I felt like I could smell and hear everything. I was so mad, I felt like I was going mad. I hated Helena. I saw Lana waiting at the front of the great hall, she had smile on her face, but as I closer and closer, it began to fade her eyes went a brigher red. 

"what happened to you?" she asked 

right then and there I wanted to break down and cry - but I didn't 

"it was Helena, she attacked me" I said, showing her a scar from the bite. 

"I'm going to kill her" Lana said going to leave, but I grab her and stopped her

"no don't" I said 

"she has to fix you Mary, you can't stay like this" Lana said 

"I just have to live with it" I said 

"if that's what you want" she mumbled 

"it's not what I want, but bad things happen to everyone, I just have to live with this one" I smiled weakly 

"okay, you'll be the first werewolf I haven't hated" she smiled and wrapped her arms around me. 

"aww how cute" I heard the sound of Helena's voice, I broke the hug,  turned and saw her. 

"shut up Helena, I will not do what you asked me, I won't and I don't care what information you have" I snapped 

"have it your way, enjoy the full moon" she smirked 

"I will" I said glaring at her, I felt my eyes begin to glow, and for the first time I saw shock and fear on Helena face. 

"your -your eyes are blue" she said - she sounded scared. 

"so what?" I snapped stepping closer to her, she backing away though

"what does blue eyes got to do with anything?" I said looking at Helena and then back to Lana. 

"it means your an alpha" Lana answered

"what?"I said shocked 

"how are you an alpha!" Helena asked 

"luck?" I asked 

"no, it's got to be more than that" Lana said 

"well you know about this stuff" I said to Lana 

"well yeah, but I need more than she bit you, I need your family history, is there anything about werewolves in there?" Lana asked

Suddenly, all the memories came back to me, I remembered the Moon curse, our family's curse -we had a bloodline of werewolves, but they were never alphas. It didn't make any sense. 

"Mary?" Lana asked 

"nothing that I know of...I'll look into it" I said leaving the great hall and going to the library. 

I walked past the bookshelves, there were a lot of students in here mostly ones from the other schools, the triwizard tournament started in a couple of days, they were drawing out the names tonight. It was pretty exciting. I ran my hands along the books. 

"so it's true" I heard Dany's familiar voice, 

"what's true?" I asked 

"your - your a you know what" she said 

"a werewolf...don't be scared to say it around me...I'm not going to died from it" I laughed 

"don't joke about it...maybe we can fix you" Dany said
