Oliver tossed and turned in his sleep as sweat glistened his body. His breathing was ragged and uneven as his chest heaved up and down. A small growl slipped from his mouth as claws slowly pushed out from his nail beds. His eyes, a color of soul consuming fire, snapped opened. He pushed off his bed, stumbling a bit before he looked to his window, his body covered in flames. Oliver ran to his window, crashed through it, and disappeared into the night.

—————One Week Later—————

Distant drumming sounded, as if the world was spinning, spinning, spinning, too fast to be normal. It quickly came to a halt as Lukas brought his head up from the steering wheel, stopping the drumming of his thumbs. He looked out to the parking lot of his school, Beacon Hills High School. He gave a soft sigh as he leaned over, grabbing his back pack for the first day of school and slipped out of his car.

With a slight huff, Lukas made his way into the school and was quickly greeted by Anna Stilinski, his best friend. "Why so glum? It's the first day of school," Anna said as she tossed her bright red hair over her shoulder as she walked alongside him with a slight smile etched onto her face.

Lukas looked to her with slightly fogged eyes before smiling, "I have no idea what you mean?"

Anna frowned slightly before murmuring, "It's Oliver isn't it?"

Lukas' smile quickly dissolved as he thought, Yes, Oliver, he's been missing... Lukas leaned in a bit and whispered, "Why the hell would Oliver, of all people, turn up missing. It makes no sense." For the past week this has worried him. Oliver has always been like a little brother to him. All three of them have been neighbors all their lives, with the Deatons in their backyards.

Anna gave him a worried looking before shaking her head, "I don't know...I don't know." They split ways, agreeing to meet up later. Lukas gave a look around before making his way to his locker.

With a slam of his locker, a girl with long blonde hair stood there, leaning against the locker next to his.

"Hey, sexy," Caroline Whittemore said with a bat of her lashes.

Lukas raised a brow slightly as he looked her over. Caroline Whittemore, a possible friend and ex girlfriend of his, also the ex girlfriend of Kyle Stilinski, older brother to Anna Stilinski. "Caroline?" Lukas said with slight confusion laced in his tone.

"Why so surprised?" Coraline asked with an obvious looking over with her eyes. She always seemed to be that way with everyone.

"Why not?"

Caroline chuckled softly before saying, "Haven't seen you in a year and you act as if I'm a stranger."

Might as well be, Lukas thought to himself before giving her a small shrug.

Caroline looked around the halls then to a specific locker. "I wonder where he went..." she mumbled to herself.

Lukas' attention snapped to her as he spoke, "Who?"

Caroline looked to him with a peaked brow, "Oliver Parrish."

"What do you know of him?" Lukas question with furrowed brows.

"We're friends. Close friends," Caroline spoke. She had a look of sorrow before it quickly washed away and she swagger off. Lukas rubbed at his eyes before making his way to his first class. So many thoughts swirling in his head, Why would a hellhound go missing? Is he truly missing? What's got the supernatural of this town so shaken up? His thoughts were interrupted as he entered his first period and ran into a small figure. He stumbled a bit, but quickly caught the small female by the elbow as she began to fall. A slight blushed formed across her face as she stuttered out, "I-I'm so sorry."

Lukas offered a charming smile as he pulled her up right, "You're fine." He looked her over, devouring every detail before saying, "I'm Lukas McCall."

"Arden Yukimura," She said with a light smile as she tucked a strand of her hair behind her ear. One sweep of her eyes, every detail of the tall boy in front of her stored away before she slipped past him and to her seat.

Lukas stares after her, interest peaked before taking a seat next to Anna. Odd, he thought to himself as he looked around the room. As he looked, he could automatically pick out the supernatural from the mundane, he had a knack for it. The odd thing was, most of the class was supernatural and that never happened. Another odd thing, most of the students were new, what brought them here?

He could tell Anna had made a mental note of the fact too. More and more supernatural creatures were coming to Beacon Hills, that's never good.

The door slowly swung open and a tall man walked into the classroom. He had on a tight fitting brown vest over a white shirt and matching brown dress pants. He set his briefcase on his desk then leaned against it as he looked over the class. Lukas examined the man, not human, but he wasn't quite sure what he was.

"Hello, I'm Mr. Kingsley."
