Wanna Be a Magic Teacher

IRENE'S POV

We arrived to the beach house. It was super big, one room for the each of us, two guest rooms, one kitchen, three living rooms, mom's magic room, game room, a front and back porch, a backyard with a pool, and five bathrooms. It's literally everyone's dream beach house. We walked in the back because that was the road we took cuz, AIN'T NOBODY GOT TIME FOR THAT! So, when we entered we unloaded the car.

Once mom and Iris went back to get the basket and the blankets I rushed upstairs quietly so they wouldn't catch me and ask me to do anything I didn't want to do. I know you think. I'm being "mean," but if you were on vacation then you may want to relax and stop doing work. I heard them close the door so I rushed up even though they could hear me. What I forgot is that, mom was the one who taught me magic so she used her darker magic to use the towels to block my way that way I know I have to go. 

"Come down now, Irenic!" mom shouted. Iris snickered, of course.

 My full name is Irenic Manderholt and my sister's full name is Irianic ManderHolt. I know it's dumb, but it was special. Anyways, I headed downstairs as Iris and mom were mumbling with each other all I could hear from the stairs was "learn, listen, and FOCUS." Suddenly, I knew what they were talking about. When I was just learning magic she said those key words "Learn listen and FOCUS you will be an Mystic one day."

 I asked  her what a Mystic was, she replied," A mystic is a magic Wielder who uses magic. They used Mystics to fight off bad and cruel enemies." said mom that day. This meant that-"EEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!" Squealed Iris. I swear I saw the glass crack and we might be getting an angry visit from our neighbors. Mom covered her ears and smiled at her. She nodded at me.

 And now I know I'm going to teach Iris what a -"What's a Mystic?" Iris asks. Ugh, seriously I still haven't mastered water magic but she wants me to mentor! She must be kidding! Is she? When I get to the stairs Iris is smiling at me so bright I don't think the sun could compete. 

"Irene, how would you like to-" mom started, but then Iris interrupted her saying, "PLEASE TEACH ME!"I immediately said, "No, I'm on vacation. Plus, why do you wanna learn during summer break especially if we have an extended summer break?" Mom was trying to get my attention and being serious, trying to make me teach her. I shrugged and said "The only way I would teach her is if I knew..." mom knew what I was talking about. Mom took out her evil eyes and when saw those twinkling lights around her head I know we were about to go mind read so I went to the magic room.

 She told Iris to go to her room. And we headed to the third floor to "The Land of Magic Minds".
