Oli's POV: I hear Mrs. Manderholt on the phone. I am urged to eaves drop and my will and politeness just drops. "What? Who? Irene, you can't tra- hello?" She says. She swiftly waits by the pool and I follow. She noticed that someone was following her but didn't know who.
Ice shot straight out of her hand. I managed to hide and doge it. WHAT THE HECK JUST HAPPENED? I am shook from the experience of things but I follow shakily. When she get to the pool, the water starts shining.
It was too bright for me to see so I covered my eyes. But when the shining was done, I couldn't move. I couldn't open my eyes. It was so cold. What if that ice thing that shot out of Mrs. Manderholt's hand shot out again and hit me.
I hear splashing from the pool. I barely open my eyes and see, IRIS! Did she come out the pool? "Mom I can't control my magic. I can barely stand! Please help us!" She pleaded. I could see the pool shine but not as bright.
I see Irene come out as well. SHE'S NOT WET. "Mom, it's emergency code 2047. Wait a minute- Oli?!" She says. Oh shoot they caught me. Well Mrs. Manderholt already noticed she's the one who froze me.
Wow, never thought I would think that before. I get melted and pretend to be unconscious and fall to the floor. I hear footsteps. "OLI!" Iris shouts. She runs over to pick me up. "Mom, what did you do to him?!" She asks.
"He was following me. I couldn't let him find out that magic is here and Mystics are real. Even if he knew, he wouldn't date you. That's why we kept you from the magic realm." She explains to Iris. I wouldn't love Iris? It doesn't matter if she had magic or not, I would still love her. Would she love me? Would I even be good enough for her?
