The Airport - Tom

Tom is away filming and you wish he would come home .

**beep ...beep...beep**

You sighed as FaceTime kept ringing .

No answer . You let out a heavy sigh and dialled Tom's number again .

Finally, after what felt like the hundredth ring , Tom answered the phone .

"Hey Y/N , I miss you so much !" He gushed , giving you that same look that made you feel happy inside .

"I miss you so much Tom , when are you coming home ?? " you questioned, holding out hope that he would say soon.

"I'm not sure, Y/N . Filming has been extended by another month , I'm so sorry." Tom replied , looking sad.

Your heart broke, you were gutted . You missed Tom so much . However, you put on a brave smile and continued to chat with Tom.

"Oh Y/N, Paddy is flying back in two days from New York  . Would you be able to collect him from the airport and drop him back to my mother's house  please ? " He inquired.

"Okay Tom I'll do that . Just send me the flight details please " you replied , still crestfallen from Tom not being the one to come home.

"Bye Y/N , I'll chat with you tomorrow "

TOM POV

I smiled to myself as I dialled Harrison's number.

"Hey Tom what's up ?" Haz answered looking bleary eyed from the late phone call .

"Hey Haz , sorry for the late phone call, but the plan is in motion . " Tom replied , fizzing with excitement.

"Oh yeah tell me how it went !"

"Okay , so I told her that Paddy was the one flying home and if she could collect him from the airport. But instead of Paddy walking out of the gate , it's going to be me ! Y/N has no idea!" Tom replied excitedly.

"Wait , where is Paddy ? " Harrison asked .

"He's at home . He's not even with me !" Tom laughed. Just as Tom started laughing Haz began aswell . "

"See you in two days Haz!" Tom smiled .

 
Two days later

You grumbled in annoyance as you sauntered into Heathrow Terminal 2. Collecting Paddy was quite an inconvenience, however he was Tom's little brother , and was only 13 and he was very sweet to you . So you didn't mind.

You checked the arrival board . Paddy's flight from JFK was delayed by 1 hour .

You rolled your eyes . "Ugh , just great . Of course the flight is delayed."

You grabbed a coffee , and found a seat to sit at . Listening to some music and reading a book recently purchased from the airport WH Smiths, you were content .

However , the flight was delayed by another 3 hours , which you were not too thrilled about .

More hours passed , and there was no sign of Paddy's flight .

Finally , much later , the plane landed .

You moved to the front of the arrival gate , searching all around for the youngest Holland boy . More time passed , and there was no sign of him .

You began to despair. Maybe he got lost ? Or went to a different terminal.?

You kept glancing around , hoping to spot the young boy .

Much later , out of the corner of your eye , a young man with brown curly hair emerged from the double doors. You definitely recognised the face .

"Tom ??!" You called , and he looked up .

"Tom !!!! " you called,  almost screeched . He smiled and you began to run to him .

Upon arriving at him , you jumped up on Tom , wrapping your legs around his waist .

"Paddy was never in NYC , was he ? " you enquired .

"Nope" he replied cheekily .

"I missed you so much Tom" you smiled .

"I missed you too Y/N" he answered .
