Aren't we going way too fast?
Can't we just let this moment last for a while?
Let's listen to the raindrops tapping on your window pane.
Let's focus on the little things:Eyes meeting eyes,
hands intertwined,
having silly conversations all night
snuggled up in this cozy bed
where we can just be in love.I don't mean to sound so insecure;
I've never felt this kind of love before.
It's not you, it's me; I know that line's overused but that's a fact.
I hope you understand.I don't think I'm unprepared; maybe I'm just a little unready.
You're way too important; I just want to do this right.
Thank god, you're more than okay with taking this slow and steady.
We'll enjoy the view of the rainstorm as we hold each other tight.Eyes meeting eyes,
hands intertwined,
we'll have silly conversations all night
snuggled up in this cozy bed
where we can just be in love.08.11.18
