Two simple words that have a huge meaning
Will you marry me
The sentence every girl dreams of hearing
When it is spoken, your heart flutters
The love in it is one for the books
It is rare
It is highly coveted
And it is hers
One day soon she will say I do
One day soon she will take a new last name
Soon she will start a whole new life with the one she loves
She will wear a white dress
Hair adorned with her mother's veil
She will walk the isle to her future
She will kiss her old life goodbye, as her father gives her away
She will grasp onto her new life, as her soon to be husband takes her hand
She will seal this future with a kiss
A promise of love, and family.
A new life, new love, and new future
All her for the taking
