"Hey! Wait up" A voice yells behind me. I turn around to see my best friend, Becca. She's such an idiot, but I still love her."What's up man, how's life? You didn't really talk to me much over fall break." She said, almost out of breath. That's right, I really didn't. I had a lot on my plate with the big project that I had to do to pass my math class." I'm doing good, and sorry. I was really busy. What happened to you? Your hair is purple now." Her hair was a light lavender with little lowlights of deep purple near the back. She was wearing the dumbest shirt ever, a meme that I got printed out on a shirt as a joke. But she loved the thing, she wore it on picture day one time. She also had on some of those dumb ripped jeans. You know, the pre-ripped ones. But I can't tell her because she will throw a fit like the Tsundere she is. "My mom finally let me go get my hair dyed. But for real, you look horrible. What happened over break? Did you eat ice cream and cry over Allen getting a girlfriend? Hmmmmmm, You know he is not going to leave you right?" She said with a slight smile on her face. I did cry, but to clear it up, Allen is my boy best friend. Nothing more, nothing less. And I was afraid he would start to hang out with her instead of me.
"No,well maybe a little bit. But it's fine if he wants to spend time with her. So anyway, where is your next class again?" I ask, trying to change the subject. "Right here, actually. Bye!" I wave and get to my locker and-"Boo!" I jumped a little as Devon walks by laughing with his friends. When I first found my "guardians", he was a good friend of mine. I knew my friends would laugh, but he was the first person I told. No one ever believed me after he told the ENTIRE SCHOOL! Man I hate him so much sometimes. But I can't tell Terrence or Evan or Lucas, because they would literally kill him. And I'm not being accused of witchcraft today- no sir.
