I head to my class and I see Allen, I don't make eye contact with him so I can sit down. But I almost forgot that Lucas followed me to school because I jumped a little when seeing him. I must have made a noise because almost half the class looked at me. "Must have seen a ghost" someone whispers. Which made all of the class laugh. Even the teacher was giggling under her breath, but it was obvious. The class went by very fast and it was lunch before I new it. I normally sit with Lucas, Evan, and/or Terrence. No one who goes to school sits with me. And you might be thinking, what about Becca? Well, she has a later lunch. I am sitting alone because Lucas had to do....something, because he wouldn't tell me, I didn't know what it was. Which is good, considering that I can see Devon out of the corner of my eye walking towards me with an open milk carton. I know what he wants to do, he is gonna pour it on me and probably say something like, you look a little white, have you seen a ghost. But I am done with this little game. He comes up behind me and I move out of the way and grab his left arm. I twist it behind his back. By this point, the whole cafeteria is looking at me. I also see his friends and kick them away. "Say mercy Devon. You look a little scared, have you seen a ghost." I say like what I'm doing is no big deal. But it is, because he is screaming mercy and everyone is either scared or laughing. I finally let him go and he runs away with his goons. I sit back down and the speaker turns on. "Anna Jettson to the office, Anna Jettson." Great, now I have to explain this to the guys. I walk to the office, leaving the cafeteria speechless.
Once I get there they give me this long talk that I tune out, I don't want to hear that right now. I just respond with "Yes ma'am" and "No ma'am" they give me a detention. Great, just great. They let me go and now it's 6th period. Wow, they had me in there for almost 2 hours. Lucas appeared behind me and since no one is around, I can talk to him. "Hey, what was that all about?" I only beat the living crap out of a guy," I got detention because I forgot my phone was on, and some random number called me." I think he bought it," Man, that sucks. But I'll be there, so it shouldn't be too bad."
Yeah, not too bad. "Hey do you wanna he-" "Hahahahahahahaha" I hear someone right behind me. Crap, so I wasn't alone. "So you really do talk to yourself? Pathetic little girl." Ugh. This girl. This is a popular. Her name is Taylor and she has her little minions. No one knows there real names, they're just plastic 1 and 2. " Awww, you are so sad. No wonder you don't have a boyfriend." Go away! " I'm not throwing away my virginity, like some people." Now she's mad," At least I still have my dignity." No you don't, " I think you tossed out with your virginity." Nice save," Just go away ghost girl." I'm leaving now, and that's awesome act number 2.
