MYRA

I wake up to the sounds of sirens. I blink a few times, my eyes adjusting to the bright lighting. How long have I been out? Where am I? I try moving my arms and legs, but it is of no use as they are tied to the chair. There is a steel table in front of me with a single file on it. What's in that folder? I look around the dark grey room, and pay heed to the fact that there are no windows. I yell for Mikey, hoping that he is okay. Suddenly, memories come flooding back and I remember why am I here...it was Liv. "LIV!" I yell, my voice louder and angrier than ever before. "I know you can hear me! Get you're sorry ass in here and let me really give you a piece of my mind!"

It was of no use - no one was coming. Tired, I feel my body shaking, but do my best to remain calm. When was the last time I ate?

...

"Wake up my dear." I hear a voice saying.

I open my eyes, trying to recover from basically passing out. I lift my head up and look straight ahead. Standing on the other side of the table was none other than Maeve.

"It's nice to see you again, Myra." she says, her voice calm.

I stare at her with complete disbelief. I open my mouth to respond, but she cuts me off - "I see you've met my friends... Liv and Ilias. Hope they weren't too rough with you." she continues, smirking. Ilias the name of the Stark.

I observe as she glides towards me, each step strong and unwavering. "Whatever you think of doing to me, don't bother." I say, spitting at her.

She stops dead in her tracks and stares at me. Her eyes frightening, I want to look away but resist the urge - it's all about power.

"The last time we met, I told you that a great destiny awaits you." Maeve continued, her voice tranquil. "I'm not wrong. You are capable of so much my young Celeste."

I look at her confused. "My name is Myra."

"Oh, I know dear...but Myra is your human name. Your true name, your Stark name, is Celeste."

I turn my head, not wanting to talk about this anymore. She is only saying this stuff to confuse me - she kidnapped me for a reason and all this bullshit she's feeding me is just to keep me from the truth.

Understanding I do not want to talk anymore, she heads to the left corner of the room. She says something in a different language, and a door appears in front of her. Seconds later, she's gone. As I look around the room confused as to what just happened, I hear a noise. Suddenly the lights go off.

I try to remember what it was she uttered for the door to appear before her, but it is of no use. As I am about to give up, I hear the creaking of a door opening. I look up and see Liv. She walks towards me and sits on the table. I can see a smirk, the same one I saw before she kidnapped me, appear on her face.

"Who's the tough one now?" She asks, her tone boastful.

"Easy to say when I'm the one tied up." I bite back.

Furious, she looks at me, then focuses on my bonds. She gets up, pulling a knife from her belt - "Oh yeah? Well even if you weren't tied up I could take you on, easy...just like I did the first time."

"That was only cause you had a Stark with you to do all the dirty work."

Annoyed, she leans forward and rips the rope tying my hands and legs down. "Let's see who's the better fighter once and for all."

I look down at my now freed body and smirk. Suddenly, I raise my leg and kick her straight in the gut. She yells, stumbling back in pain. I see the knife fly out of her hand and I lunge towards it. Before I can reach it, she is already on top of me, tackling me to the ground. I scream, trying to free myself from her grasp. Thinking of something to do - anything to get her off me - I jab my fingers in her eye. I press as hard as I can till I feel her weight shifting, placing her focus on her now bloody eye. I take the opportunity to grab the knife and run.

I reach the left corner, the same place Maeve called for the door and stop. I can hear Liv getting up, knowing it is only a matter of time before she attacks me again. I stare at the wall, trying to recall those few words Maeve uttered, when instantly it just came to me. I felt an overwhelming sense of agony and then nothing at all. I pass it off as adrenaline, and repeat the words. Promptly, the door appears. I open it and rush through, slamming it behind me. I can hear the door wish away and turn back.

There was nothing there. I rub my eyes and look again. There really was nothing there - no door, no building ... not anything. How can that be?  I am sure I just escaped from a place, unlike nothing I've ever seen before - so where did it go? I walk around, surrounded by thousands of sunflowers. Suddenly it hits me - I'm in the middle of a field of sunflowers?!?! I grab my head, thinking that I must have banged it hard against something. Am I going crazy? I walk around for a while, trying to figure out where I am, when I see a board - I am in Acrine, two towns from where Mikey and I live. How did I get here?

Hours pass and I try to make my way home. I need to get to Mikey, to make sure he is safe. I take this time to think about everything that just happened. What did just happen, I wonder. As I near a farmhouse, still miles away from our apartment, I spot a horse. My face lights up. I don't have to walk anymore! I quietly walk over to the horse and untie the rope, holding him in place, from a nearby post. I get on his back. It's almost dusk now and as much as I want to sleep, I know that there is no time to rest. Instead, I ride off into the night...contemplating all that is my life.
