Chap 17: Chocolate Murderers, Breakfast, and Kitchen Sinks

***Izzy's P.O.V***

When the eight of us disappeared into the bedroom, Lauren sunk down onto the bed, shock clearly emphasized on her face. Amanda and Karen sat down on the bed on wither side of her and took her hand. Alex sat on the foor in front of her and I stood off to the side, feeling that maybe I shouldn't crowd Lauren too much. It seemed Perrie, Eleanor, and Danielle had the same reasoning as me. Or maybe it was because they had just met us. Either way, they stood by the door, trying to eavesdrop on the boys.

"I can't believe it," Lauren finally whispered. "I have an older brother."

"And not just any brother! Niall Horan!! Lauren, you're last name is technically Horan!" Karen screeched, clearly excited about the recent discovery. Amanda gave her a "shut up" look, and Karen quieted down. I couldn't help but giggle. At the sound of my laughter, Lauren's face flooded back with color and she smiled.

"I think the boys are done talking," Danielle said from the doorway. We all stood and made our way back to the lounge room. Niall and Louis sat together, and Louis had tear stains on his cheeks, but a grin plastered on his face. Liam was holding Alex's guitar, giving me the impression that they had been singing.

As we entered, the boys looked over at us, shock still evident in their eyes. Lauren, surprisingly, ran straight into Niall's arms, and he held her tight, as if he never wanted to let go. Danielle, El, and Perrie all crept over to their boyfriends, leaving me, Karen, Alex, and Amanda to stand there like the loners we were.

"So, what do you all want to do? I think our Truth or Dare game is over," Alex reasoned, and Louis shot us all and apologetic smile.

"Movie?" Niall suggested, his arms still latched around Lauren's waist. Everyone mumbled their agreement and Amanda went to fetch our DVD player from the cabin's storage closet. We had brought along a DVD player because the cabins didn't come with one, and the five of us were movie junkies.

As Amanda set up the DVD player, with Liam's and Karen's assistance, the rest of us girls took up on our unofficial jobs that we always did whenever we had a movie night. Alex fetched pillows and blankets, with help from Perrie, Danielle, and Eleanor. I went into the kitchen with Lauren at my side. Lauren popped about a dozen bags of popcorn while I brewed hot chocolate.

By the time we were all ready, Liam and the two girls had the Player set up and the previews for the movie had already began. Apparently Amanda had chosen Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl, which was Lauren's favorite Disney movie. Liam and Danielle snuggled under a blanket together on a chair, while Louis, Eleanor, Perrie, and Zayn all shared one of the sofas in the room. On the other sofa, it was Harry on one end, me in the middle, and Amanda on the other end. Alex and Karen were laying on the floor in front of the TV, and Lauren and Niall shared the beanbag chair that Karen had insisted on bringing with her.

About halfway through the movie, I noticed that half of us had fallen asleep. The only ones awake were me, Lauren, Niall, Karen, and Amanda. I was actaully surprised that Alex had fallen asleep. She had had so much sugar tonight, and she had only finished half of her hot chocolate. Harry was sleeping next to me, but I don't think he was fully asleep yet because he wasn't snoring yet.

He looked so peaceful while he was sleeping. I tore my gaze away from him to watch the part of the movie where Jack and Elizabeth were dancing and singing around the fire on the island drinking rum.

Towards the end of the movie where Barbosa's crew surrendured the battle, I looked around me to see that only Karen and Lauren were awake now. Niall had fallen asleep while holding hands with Lauren. Too cute!! I'm so happy for Lauren! I yawned and squrimed a little on the sofa, trying to find a more comfortable position.
