Chapter 10: Heaven Gates
Lythia's POV
"You can open up now!!" Hermes, shook Lexis's shoulders.
"Thanks, you know, I've been thinking, I'm not all that a mortal, I'm a medic human, you know like in the flash..." Lexis trailed off.
"Shut up!" Hermes and I replied at the same time.
"Gosh, I can see the family trail!!" He breathed out.
"Welcome, young Goddess, and disgusting mortal, to the place every dreams of going when they die......Heaven!" Hermes introduced.
My eyes widen at the sight in front of me, we were walking on clouds!!!
Lexis grabbed onto my arms, I guess he caught his coward.
"I'm scared," he whispered in my ears, as we walked further into the floating kingdom.
"Me too!" I admitted as well.
Finally, we reached the enormous golden gates that has the name, 'Heavens Gate' Written in solid gold. My eyes shown brightly as we walked in the colorful streets of gold, trees with various kind of fruits, but best of all the haply and civilized people, including children.
Feathery clouds started to rain, and Hermes handed me a white puffy jacket along with head gear. I thanked him, as Lexus looked at me with pleading eyes.
He was soon handed one, and dragged it on smiling like a geek, I guess this is the way mortal act, when they are first introduced to heavennnnnnnnnnnn!
"Do you Gods prefer white rather that other colors?" I asked.
"Kinda, why ask?" Hermes replied, while leading the way, through the long everlasting kingdom.
"Because I don't know, in movies, angels are always white!" I replied. Lexis nod in agreement.
"Well at least they got something right!" Hermes stated with his face in a scowl.
"What's the matte?"
"Did you really have to bring him?" He asked, pointing at lexis. He was crying over an art work
"This, i-isss soooooo beautiful!" He sobbed out!!
I laughed at him, and turned facing Hermes again, "Yes, he's my bestie, and will forever be!!"
"Just great, I'm stuck with a stubborn ass, and a complete idiot for two weeks!" Hermes grumbled and walk off.
"Get that right!!!!" I screamed walking over to crying lexis. Ohhh my baby.
