I run down the side walk with the coffee splashing in it's closed cup. This really sucks I'm sooooo gonna get fired this time!!!

I run into the familiar skyscraper and immediately get into the elevator and press the 35th floor button.

I impatiently wait for the elevator to reach the floor as I twiddled my fingers together to a made up tempo.

Once it reaches the floor I race out and run into my bosses office and see him with an ugly look on his face.

"Y/N this is the fourth time this week you've been late!" He yells at me as he knocks the coffee out of my hands. It manages to spill burning hot coffee all over me in the process.

"Ah!" I yell out loud and hold my shirt away from my chest.

"I'm sorry it wont-" I get interrupted

"No it won't happen again! Matter of fact, you're fired!" He yells as he points to his door.

"No sir I really need this job please give me another chance!!" I put my hands together as I beg for another chance.

"No! No more chances!! I'll have your things sent to your place just get out of my sight!" He yells at me.

I shrink back before running out the door and not even bothering to use the damn elevator.

I needed the workout anyways.

I walk the wet sidewalks of the unknown street I've stumbled upon with my head down.

I need a drink.

I think to myself as I untuck my now stained blouse from my black pencil skirt.

I raise my head and move the strands of hair out of my face while putting it into a pony tail.

I look around for any low price bars but the only one I see in range is 'The Bott(le)' I've heard it's a good bar but it's expensive as hell!

I start to think if I know any places around here but I immediately stop myself and shrug. "Oh well what have I got to lose?" I shrug and walk over the the bar.

————————————————————————

I walk in and find a seat at the bar easily as the bar is empty because of work hours.

I look around for the server but I don't see anyone at the counters or walking around.

I sigh to myself as I begin to take my business elsewhere before someone pulls me back to my seat from my wrist.

"I'm sorry for the wait ma'am. What may I get you?" A deep voice sounded from behind me as I got pulled back to my chair.

I turned around to scowl at the annoyingly polite kid who pulled me back but I find myself with wide eyes staring at the beauty of a man standing in front of me.

He has a small yet manly nose, strong jaw line, nice sculptured form on his cheek bones and perfect brown hair that seems to be messily or lazily styled. He has great body proportion, his thighs are perfect, waist small but equally portioned, chest chiseled but you could barely see it under a shirt, great arms and let's be honest, a great everything.

I choke on my air before being able to spit any kind of words. "I-i just wanted some whiskey." I spoke as I admired this mans beauty.

"Yes ma'am." He smiled at me before reaching down below him and taking out a whiskey bottle and taking out a shot glass and placing it in front of me.
