"Rose, I have a surprise for you." Luke said, mischief in his eyes.
"And what would that be Lucas?" I smiled at him. He revealed a box in his hand with a pink bow.
"Well, go on, open it." He pushed. I laughed and opened the box, to reveal a book. Printed on the cover was 'The Wanted Vampire' And when I looked on the first page, I saw a dedication,
'To the wanted vampire, may this make you smile forevermore'
The first page described me, everything about me, from my eyes to my fangs to that freckle on my nose. I don't think I have ever smiled wider in my entire being. I jumped up and hugged Luke tightly, 'its perfect.' I whispered in his ear.
"And now for the ruling, does this make you happy?" He asked as I pulled away from the hug.
"You know what Luke, yes. Yes, this is probably the most happy moment of my life." I smiled, and felt as if I could explode from happiness. He smiled widely and hugged me again. I screamed slightly when he picked me up and spun me around. I rested my cold forehead against his warm one and looked into his eyes. "Thank you Luke. You found something that makes me happy in this horrid place we call a world. And I couldn't be more thankful I found you that day."
'Rosemary Winters, no human, besides myself and from what I hear Ben, has been blessed with getting to know you. This was is clouding the human mind, making them run whenever they see the color red. I took a chance that day by talking to the most deadly creature under the sun, and I couldn't be happier with that decision." I smiled wider, if that was even physically possible.
"Luke, I think you found something else that makes me happy."
"What? It was puppies, wasn't it?" he smirked. I shook my head. "Then what?" He raised an eyebrow.
"You."
