The stranger that smiled
The happy kid with candy
The notification light on my phone
The little things are easy lies
That stranger just lost their job
That little kid was crying at the doctor's office
The light that just flashed...
I'm thankful that it's true

So something I always try to keep in mind is to enjoy the little things in life and when I wrote this I realized that small things could easily be taken out of context and how I was thankful when I realized that this person actually cared about me (it sorta fell a little while ago we aren't as close anymore sadly)
