Size: 1000 x 250 and 1000 x 300 tend to be good sizes, but as long as it looks like a banner it's good :)

I've put the deadline a bit early for this contest as banners don't take too long to make, but if you need more time just let me know. Just as a quick head-ups though, I'm extremely busy on the 25th and am planning on opening the next contest by the 26th at the latest.
