REVIEW of the covers in
Aurora / Asteria by LavenderLily02Note: ★ - Focus
ORIGINALITY 9/10
It shows that you're comfortable with your style of cover-making. That's great and soon enough you'll be confident with it. It's good to try other approaches to cover-making but with some of the covers it seems as though you gave up and just settled with it.____________________________________
CREATIVITY 8.5/10
You make such beautiful manips! Especially with the dark ones, they really look whole. Although, it gets obvious with the bright ones because of the difference in contrast. Your blending is great as it is so there's just little to improve on that.Besides that, your simple contemporary/teen genre covers tend to be overly simplistic. Now there's nothing wrong with simplicity but when it's repetitive throughout your succeeding covers.. it becomes boring.

RELEVANCE 9/10
>Font (8/10)
Firstly, I don't see a variety of fonts (except when you seem to be trying a new style). Going through your covers, I see the same or similar fonts and this to me is somewhat playing safe.Secondly, you seem to give your all to the manipulation that you've totally given up on the font. It tends to be too solid and plain compared to the background. You obviously know about the gradient, texture, and shadows. So, just don't be afraid to try and experiment with those.
>BG/Model/Subject (10/10)
Relevant to the story/theme very much. Keep that up! There's nothing worse than going completely random just to fit an aesthetic (I can't stress this enough).____________________________________
NEATNESS 10/10
>Placement (10/10)
Nothing awkward unless when you've tried a new style and have seemingly settled for the first few attempts.>Clarity (10/10)
No problem here.____________________________________
OVERALL APPEAL 8/10
Aesthetic 8/10
Already aesthetically appealing so you're doing good! It's just that your style seems repetitive (not talking about your themes tho they gr8) and sometimes play it safe. Also, it's obvious when you just settle with what you ended up with, even if you're not pleased with it.____________________________________
FINAL THOUGHTS
You're growing confident with your cover-making or I sure hope! Just keep practicing and don't be discouraged by the first few tries. Or rather don't rush yourself. You know what they say, you don't rush art.
