It will be three months that you had been pregnant in one week. Jason has been so sweet, taking you to the doctor, keeping you calm, and feeding into your cravings. Your morning sickness had gone down by now but now a new development had arisen; pregnancy smell. You could smell everything and nothing smelled good.
Jason came home and you had dinner waiting on the table. "Hello, doll. How is my favorite girl?" He asked. You kissed him and took him to the table. "I'm well. Your child still hates food but I finally found something they like!" You opened the pot to show Jason. "Is that.. is that pasta with.. nothing on it?" He asked. You sighed and sat down, rubbing your belly. "It doesn't like anything, Jason. Nothing we have does it want. I'm at my wits end and I'm so hungry." Jason laughed and crouched down to your level. "Why don't we go to the manor and see what Alfred can make. That man can make anything taste good." You smiled and hugged him. "I knew I kept you around for some reason. But what are we going to do, I'm starting to show but we decided not to tell anyone until next week when it's been three months?"
"Wear one of my sweat shirts, no one will be able to tell. Plus, you look adorable in it." He kissed your nose and pulled you to stand up. You get dressed in leggings, sneakers and Jason's smaller sweater so you still looked somewhat presentable. You could almost see the bump but you really had to look.
Jason pulled up to the manor and as soon as he opened your door, you smelled something that made you instantly vomit. You hid behind a bush but you could tell your eyes had watered. "Jason, they are going to find out, I can't go in there. Something smells awful." He came over and handed you a piece of gum and a water from the car. "Take these. The mint will settle your stomach and the water will keep you hydrated. You'll be fine just take deep breaths through your mouth, no one will know. Come on." He led you toward the house and Alfred opened the door and with it, the terrible smell hit you and you gagged behind your hand. Jason held you tighter and you tried to hide it but Alfred never misses a thing. "Miss (y/l/n), are you alright? Are you sick?"
"Yes!" Jason practically screamed. You shot him a look and he brought his volume down. "Yes, (y/n) is sick, she has a little stomach bug. But nothing seems to agree with her and she's starving. You wouldn't happen to have an old family recipe that would help, would you, Al?" Alfred eyed you suspiciously but motioned the two of you in. "Yes, sir. I believe my mothers' chicken soup will do the trick." Jason looked to you to gauge your reaction and you smiled. Alfred led you to the kitchen where the smell was apparently coming from and you gagged again, as there was nothing left in you to come out. "Alfred.. what is everyone else eating tonight?" You asked. "That would be the salmon, M'am." Of course. It had to be fish. "Okay, would you mind terribly if I waited in the living room for the soup? This smell is just.."
"Upsetting the baby?" Alfred said with a knowing tone. You stared at him in shock. "How did you know!?" You screamed. Alfred came over and held your hand. "I'm very old, love. I've seen my fair share of ailments but pregnancy is one distinct illness that shows itself differently, and only chicken soup can cure it. And a bit of ginger ale." He hugged you tight. "And I must say congratulations. Master Todd has never been so kind as I've seen him since he's been with you. You bring out something in him I've always knows was there. Thank you, (y/n)." You cried openly and hugged him. "Thank you, Alfred. You're so sweet. Just please don't tell anyone, I'm not three months pregnant for another week."
"Your secret is safe with me. Now go into the living room and light the lavender candle on the mantel. I'll bring your soup when it's ready." You thank him again and meet Jason in the living room, talking to Dick, Tim, and Damian. "Welcome back, doll. Have you been crying?" Jason asked. The other boys were deep in their conversation about who knocked out the most goons on patrol the night before so you whispered to Jason, "Alfred knows." Jason panicked but you placed a hand on his back and said "but he's keeping it a secret." He let out a sigh and brought the two of you over to the couch, sitting. The boys' conversation turned into a physical fight until Brice walked in. The boys pulled apart and Bruce called you all into the dining room for dinner. Oh boy. The salmon. You hoped you'd be able to eat.
Walking to your seat you saw your soup and ginger ale already there. When you sat down you could only smell the soup and it smelled amazing. You mentally thanked Alfred and once everyone was eating you dug in. You finished your soup and went to drink some ginger ale but ended up spilling the entire glass on your sweater. Well shit. Jason, forgetting why you had it on in the first place, suggested you take the wet sweater off and just wear the t shirt underneath. You said no. "You can't sit there in a wet shirt, (y/n)." Dick said. "Really I'm fine, guys. Eat, I'm okay." The boys were confused but dropped the subject. Once everyone was finished eating, Bruce invited everyone into the sitting room for coffee. "So, Jason. How have things been?" Bruce said. "Good. Normal. Nothing to report. Nothing at all." You shook your head. Jason was a shitty liar. "Are you two okay?" He asked. "Yes, Bruce, I'm just not feeling well. Jason is concerned about me but I'm fine, really." You gave him a smile and sat down next to Jason. "Oh that's a relief. It seemed like he was hiding something. Are you hiding something, Jason?" He got up close to Jason's face and you panicked. Jason was going to crack. "(Y/n)'s PREGNANT!" He screamed. You hit your face with your palm. Great. He couldn't wait one week. Everyone in the room was quiet. Bruce pulled back a bit, in shock. "What did you just say?" "She's pregnant, Bruce. Three months in a week." Dick came over and hugged you, being cautious of your tummy. "A baby!? How amazing! You can name it after me, of course and I can be Uncle Dick!" You laughed and looked at Bruce. He didn't look good. Jason looked at you with pleading eyes. You couldn't help the situation at all so you just gave him a reassuring look. Bruce finally spoke. "Jason. Meet me in my office. Alone." Then he stormed off. Jason kissed you. "Wish me luck." He said and walked after Bruce. Damian came over to you and touched your arm. "(Y/n)?"
"Yes, Dami?" You asked. "Could I.. touch.." he pointed to your stomach. You smiled and took his hand, placing it on your stomach. His eyes widened. "Wow.." he whispered. You'd never seen Damian so vulnerable before, so innocent. You teared up. Tim pulled him out of the way and hugged you. "Congratulations, sis. You'll be a great mother. And I'll be his favorite uncle." Tim winked at you. Damian came over and pushed Tim. "Drake. If you think I won't be its favorite, you're dead wrong!" The boys started to explain what would make each of them the favorite when we hear a loud bang from upstairs and the door slam. Jason ran down the stairs and out the door. You said goodbye to the boys and followed Jason outside. "What happened up there!?" You yelled. Jason was crying. Really crying. You'd never seen him like this before. "He.. he.. ugh FUCK!" He screamed loudly. You went over to him and hugged him. He held you for dear life and sobbed into you. "Tell me exactly what happened, Jason."
