Lets begin:
Stars, I love them. A guilty pleasure, but soon I would have to go back underground after the hunt. I wasn't supposed to dwell on such things such as stars. But Hell I'm a romantic even if they want to beat it out of me. There's nothing out here, just the endless trees and darkness. Soon I would have to go back. When the sun arises we must flee. It's just safer that way. But I must catch something, there's a lot of hungry bellies back underground. I hope Slith and Hawke caught something, anything. Food has been hard to come by, especially meat. I manage to harvest a bag full of wild vegetation mostly onions, lots of onions. They're good for soup... if we had meat. It would just be another meal of onion and mushroom soup if this hunt wasn't fruitful. If even that. Silence, I stood completely still, only hearing my shallow breath.
I was hot, I had my longbow down in front of me, arrow knocked. I was waiting for anything, just for something to cross my path, everyone was feeling the hunger pains ever since they came. I smelled the air. It was stale, and nothing moved in the dam forest. If it wasn't for them I would have petitioned more to move our camp, maybe move into the water. But they took over the river too. What was left of us wouldn't hear of it. They were scared. Only fifteen. Fifteen hungry people where left from my tribe. Roughly only half survived. We needed food, something to bring hope.
May the spirits forgive me, there was nothing out here in the "safe" zone and the Wise One knew it. I started walking silently in the dark. Slowly to blend in the woods, everything was stale and the woods didn't whisper like they used too. The trees didn't sing and the wind bringing news from other tribes or clans. It was because of them. There was one place I knew I had food. But it was a nesting place for them. A farm, with lots and lots of food that we need. They drove us out, these where our woods and that food was ours too. I was going to steal it, even if the Wise One skinned me when she found out.
