Maggie's POV

We finally finished all of the finishing touches to our apartment. Our last piece was a pollard photo of us in our outfits for our first homecoming. Right after we put the finishing touches up it is now time for us to get ready. I decide to be simple with a gold Iowa football crop top and some jean shorts.
Once all four of us are ready we decide to head to the bus stop since Kinnick is always crazy right before games. We pull up just in time to get in line for the student section.

Daniel's POV

I just landed at O'hare for a layover it isn't very long. I basically have time to go to the terminal and wait. As my plane is called I grab my bag and go to wait in line. I have already had the longest flight down. The next one is about as long as my layover.
As the plane is landing I get ready for one of the best days of my life. I walk out of the plane. This is my first time in this airport but it is relatively small so I find my way out. When I reach the main entrance. I sit on a little bench and plug in my phone and call an Uber. Once I get in we start heading south towards Iowa city. The Uber drops me off on Melrose by a tiny suburb called University Heights.
"Follow the people walking" he says as I pay him.
"Thank you" I say as I start walking.
