"My arm. It's inked and it's not washing off." Samuel said anxiously.
A lump got stuck in my throat but Samuel need me, so I swallow it. "I'm on my way."
This is not good. This is really bad. Fucking Henry and Thomas couldn't watch him for THREE more hours. Idiots. I throw on my shoes, grab my keys and wallet, and rush out the door. I drive as fast as the speed limit will take me, hurrying over to Samuels house. I'm fairly certain I ran a few red lights but it's worth it. God, I feel so guilty. I can't believe I left him like that. I should've known that Henry and Thomas couldn't handle it.
I pull into Sam's driveway. I hop out of the car and run to the door. I don't bother knocking and find Sam scrubbing his arm with the rough side of a sponge. It's already up to his neck. I rush over and grab his arm before he scrubs to the bone.
"STOP! YOU'RE ALREADY BLEEDING!" I say trying to snap him out of his anxiety induced trance.
"IT WONT SCRUB OFF" he yells at me with his eyes bulging out of his head.
"And it won't until you figure out what happened" I say trying to be the voice of reason.
"I DON'T KNOW WHAT HAPPENED" he yells sounding terrified.
"Then let's call Henry and Thomas okay?"
Samuel nods
They're the only ones who might know what happened. I lead Sam over to the couch and get him to sit down. He puts his head in his hands hunched over. I grab my phone and dial up Henry.
"You need to come over to Sam's NOW." I say not asking.
"Why? I'm at work." he says almost annoyed.
"If I have to drag you out of there by your balls I will. Tell them you're feeling sick and get your ass over here. And bring Thomas while you're at it." I hang up with no intention to argue.
I sit next to Samuel observing his arm. It's as black as oil and already up to his neck. We need to hurry.
