Kotori and Umi have a very strange relationship, but everyone finds their way. When Umi is at archery practice, Kotori is waiting outside the shrine-like building for her, always with a kind smile. Umi loves this side of Kotori, the one who is really affectionate towards her. It makes Umi feel very special inside, giving her the warm feeling we all love.
On the walk home, it's a little embarrassing. Of course, Kotori is attached to Umi's arm. Always saying things such as, "Umi-chan! When can we have another date? The first was fun!" With a sly and special giggle following, Umi's face turned a dark shade of crimson, looking into the sky. Umi had sighed, puffing a bit of steam into the air. Every exhale is a little puff of steam, because put simply, it's winter.
Umi looked Kotori in the eyes, giving a half smile, not noticing the crimson on her face. "Yeah. It sounds fun. I would love to go on another date, Kotori." The words stumbled out of her mouth. Looking ahead as she looks upwards again, as if something was in the sky she just can't seem to manage. 'Perhaps I'm seeing things, silly me.' Umi nodded herself off from what she had thought.
A feeling struck her chest when they walked. Umi most certainly was not tired, as she'd fight the urge to clutch her chest with her hand. As if shot with an arrow. 'This... Feeling..' Umi closed her left eye, quivering slightly as she looked at Kotori to her right, who had just noticed. "UMI-CHAN! ARE YOU ALRIGHT? YOULOOKHURTANDIMEXTREMELYWORRIEDRIGHTNOWDOINEEDTOCALLHE-" "Kotori.. I'm fine.." Umi stands up straight and pulls off her best smile, as it seemed to had worked.
Umi places her hand on Kotoris head, panting softly from the feeling just a few seconds ago. "See, I'm fine. Nothing to worry about!" "But.. Umi-chan-" Umi runs her hand gently across Kotoris head, and smiles. "Anyways, it's about time you head home, I will as well." The two separated as when Umi arrived at her home, she had plopped on her futon and thought long and hard about the feeling she had felt.
"Jealously..? No, there's nothing to be jealous about." Umi had crossed of that option from her head, placing her hands on her cheeks and looking at her ceiling. "From what had been explained, it feels like Kotori is cheating on me. But I just don't know.. Kotori really doesn't feel like the type to do that.." Umi had skipped dinner, an anxious feeling filled her stomach. She couldn't eat. She showered and put on her nightwear. Laying down in her futon and covering her eyes with her arm. Taking a rather lengthy exhale. "I'll need to question Honoka.."
When Umi had woken up, it was late. Half an hour, jolting herself up from her futon, throwing on her winter uniform and dashing out the door. Her anxiety boiling inside of her, something she was simply incapable of controlling, no matter how hard she tried to do this. She couldn't.
Running as fast as she could into the school, the teacher still called her out for being ten minutes late. Panting softly as she'd place her hand on Honoka's shoulder. "Please.." Umi would pant, "Talk with me in lunch, I have a subject to inform you about. It may not be valid.. Please stick with me."
