Kotori, Our Little Bird Gets Sick!!

After we got back from the school trip, my midnight walk with Kotori must've sickened her? It was pretty cold so I wouldn't blame her for not being prepared, but snapping wouldn't exactly be the nicest thing to do to your lover.

Once we got home Principal Minami had Kotori stay home so she didn't get any of the others students sick, according to the doctor she only got a small cough, but that could also go a long way towards others, a small cough can easily lead to a flu.

Later, more-so after school I came to check on Kotori, she seemed extremely happy to see me, her face looked like she just got an Angels blessing, I sit next to her and sigh "I guess a birds feathers can't prevent sickness, huh?"
'Hey! I didn't have anything warmer to wear. I'm blaming the weather for doing this to me!'
"Kotori, if you were cold you could've asked, I would've spared you a jacket or so."
'Umi-chan.." Kotori sneezes. "That would've been so childish of me to do, I didn't pack enough clothing so I had to pay up the consequences, right?"
I sigh, ruffling Kotoris bed-head hair. "I disagree with that."

Kotori puffs her cheeks as sits up, staring at me and sighing "that was mean, Umi-chan.." "I'm sorry, Kotori. You can just be too cute sometimes and it's hard to resist, I wouldn't blame myself if I pounced on you one day." "u-Umi-chan! T-that wouldn't be very nice to do if my mother is right upstairs!" Kotori embarrassedly chirped, her face now red instead of mine "I didn't say here, did I?" I give her a somewhat seductive glance, as she pretends to faint, covering herself in her own sheets and ending up dozing off

When she woke up, she almost screamed because Honoka, being herself, was right over her, staring at her like she just found some type of rare bread. I gently push Honoka back "That's enough, you don't want to scare the little bird" "I'm sorry, Umi-chan! She looked dead so I needed further information." Honoka smiled nervously and laughed, a drop of sweat from being nervous runs down the side of her face as we both revert our gazes back onto Kotori

We flood her with questions, "How are you feeling?" "Do you feel hot?" "Do you feel cold?" "Are you itchy?" "Please tell us!" The nervous bird could do nothing but provide a fake laugh "I-I'm fine.." she leaned upward and stretched, as Honoka sits on the side of her bed "Kotori-Chan, why are you sick anyways..?" Honoka, being clueless because she still doesn't know that Kotori and I are going out, nor does the other members of μ's, this'll be a pain to explain to them.

I threw a random excuse "Kotori went outside at night for a practice meet up, and she must've gotten sick. So it's my fault." Kotori gave me amazed eyes "So formal, Umi-chan.~" I could see it inside her eyes, I nodded and looked back at Honoka, as She nods "I get it, Umi-chan stop overworking Kotori-chan!" Honoka said at me with a 'intimidating' look, as I sigh and nod "I'll try not to."

Writing chapters is hard when you're exhausted from vacation, but I wanted to make a new one. Sorry, it's a bit longer then the last but not much!
