Love Live, School Idol Day(s) (Kotori X Umi) DISCONTINUED

A Conversation That Leaves A Certian Honk Confused

At the middle of the school, where Honoka and Umi ate lunch
Umi had remained quiet for most of the period, not having the courage to talk to Honoka by herself. If Honoka had approved her theory about Kotori cheating on Umi with her, would Umi get mad? Upset? Or simply— Remain calm?

About ten minutes before the period ended, Umi finally fessed up. "Honoka, This may seem weird, or questionable. But what's your relationship with Kotori?" Umi had a pieced look on her face, as if she really regretted asking the question.

Honoka had tilted her head, placing her free hand (That of course isn't eating bread) on her chin, shrugging. "Kotori is my best friend, i've known her for a long time. We're nothing like how close you to are, to be dishonest would be a sin. Because you know when I try to be."

"Honoka, Did you eat the rest of the bread I had stored in my bag?"
"U...Uhh.." Honoka was tensing up, to the point where the sweat was noticeable.
"No, Umi-chan! Of course not!" Honoka then got to her knees and bowed.
"Yes, Umi-chan. I had eaten the bread you had in your bag."

Umi still had the feeling Honoka was being dishonest, even after swearing she wasn't. Umi then stood up, looking down at Honoka. Right before the bells had rung. She stated bluntly, out of nowhere, "Tell me this, Honoka. How much are you hanging out now, and If you don't mind. I'd like a reason for that, too."

Umi walks off, as the conversation ended. Leaving the poor Honoka puzzled. Her thoughts were disrupted by a loud ringing of the school bell, she then stood up and rushed as fast as she could to class.
