I walked down the road and past my neighborhood on Riverside Oak street. I'ts nice here, the houses all have same burgandy rooftops and shaped windows. Squared and long, almost like my first home with my mom. Living here is new to me, although it is like I never left... nor my mom.

"Hey!" I heard someone exclaim.

I turned around to find a girl with a leather jacket on, black cargo pants and aviators. To most boys, she would be considered cute with her bad girl looks. She has dark brown eyes which you could see through her glasses  because of their big dark shape. She had brown hair almost like mine I had as a child, it reached down to the top of her leather jacket. In all honesty.... I would not want to get on her bad side.

"Umm... hi?" I said nervously.

"I'm Jessica, how old are you? " she asks curiously.

"14, you?" I say slowly.

"15 for two weeks" she proudly states  "What high school are you going to?" she adds

"River Oaks, i'm walking today." I say flatly

"Oh nice, can I walk with you I seriously got to ditch my crazy older brother." she says

I laugh. "Why not?" I  smile.

After walking for a quarter of an hour, we arrive at River Oaks High. We sort of stand awkwardly in front of the school while all the new arrivals... well arrive.

"Thanks for walking with me" I say.

"No problem" she replies. She nudges me with her elbow, with a big smile on her face.

"What classes do you have?" I ask

"History, English, Science, Math, Geography, Gym, and Music."

"Oh cool, I have Science, Music and Gym with you." I announce "And Math" I add.

The bell rings.

Jessica might have a scary look, but I think she is nice. I hope not to run into any trouble before I see her again. I look inside my bookbag until I get shoved and all my things in my bag went flying. I looked up to see three incredibly cute guys with a smirk on their faces. Oh crap, I forgot about the jocks.

The so-called leader has a sad look on his face."I'm so sorry! I can't believe I just knocked you and all your stuff down!" he says sincerely. The boy reaches down to help me up, I was utterly embarressed and took his hand.

I should never have done that.
