*After School*

Jack's POV:

Rosie: "Ok! I will meet you all at the dojo!"

*Rosie Leaves*

Kim: "Ok Jack, what is it?"

What is she talking about??

Jack: "What do you mean?"

Kim: "Oh please! You get the same look every time you have something important to talk about."

Jack: "Fine. I want to ask Rosie to the dance but since its her first I want it to be special. I was hoping you might have an idea?"

Kim: "Ok, we'll… Oh I got it!!! So Rosie always loves to make post-it note art collages on her wall . I heard Rudy is getting her a bulletin board to hang them on. When you guys are done with her room, just leave behind post-it notes so she can rearrange them on her board having it spell out, 'will you go to the dance with me? -J'. She'll love it guaranteed!!!!"

Jack: "That's perfect! Thank you so much!"

Kim: "No problem! Come on we should get to the dojo!"

Rosie's POV:

*On the way home*

Rosie: "Dang it! I forgot the house key from Rudy!"

Jack: "I really want to ask Josie to the dance...(muffled)"

What?!?! I felt a tear slip from my eyes. Maybe Rudy still hides a spare key under his doormat like he use to. Cuz I'm not going over there. I was hoping, maybe, he would… no. I don't even want to think about that. Well, maybe my parents were right to fly me to Paris every school dance. Well, I guess that's where I should be.

*Pulls out phone and dials her dad's number*

Lucas: "Hey there, Flower!"

I giggle a little. They usually call me Rose or Flower.

Rosie: "Hi, daddy! I've decided I'd like for you to send the jet on Monday, instead of me going to the dance."

Lucas: "Are you sure, Flower? You begged your mother and I for weeks to let you stay."

Rosie: "I know, but I'm sure I'd rather be in Paris. I'll see you soon! Love you!"

Lucas: "Alright, my flower! See you soon! And I love you too! Bye!"

Rosie: "Bye!"

*Hangs up phone*

Now I just have to tell everybody. I just hate having to tell Kim. She has been so excited! All well, I'm sure she'll understand.
