*At the Dojo*
Jack's POV:
Rosie: "Bonjour! What are you guys talking about?"
Rosie was wearing this: (on the side)
Jack: "The dance theme."
When I looked at Rosie, she may have been smiling but her eyes didn't have their usual happy sparkle… I wonder why…
Kim: "It's a FAIRYTALE BALL!!!!! Yay!!! So Rosie, we should probably choose our dresses tomorrow!"
Rosie: "Yeah, that'd be great, except…"
Kim: *sigh* "You aren't going are you?"
Rosie: "I'm sorry, Kim, but no. But, hey, you can still wear one of my fanciest dresses. I called my parents and I'm leaving for Paris on Monday."
Kim and I exchanged confused looks
Why would she be leaving?! It's all she and Kim have talked about for days! I've got to figure out what's going on!Rosie: "Anyway, lets get back to work!"
*After Karate*
Jack: "Hey, Rosie, can I talk to you?"
Rosie: "I guess…"
When I looked at her she looked hurt and also didn't sound like she was very willing to talk to me…
Jack: "So why the sudden change? I thought you were thrilled about going to your first dance?"
Rosie: "I was, but it turns out that the guy I wanted to go with has a date already."
Who? She couldn't be talking about me, I don't have a date.
Jack: "What do you mean?"
Rosie: "Forget it. I have to meet Kim at my house soon and pack for my trip."
And with that she walked away. Well that didn't help me find out much. Maybe Kim can get something out of Rosie as to why she's leaving…
*Skipping Kim Coming Over To Rosie's house* (I want Kim's dress to be a surprise)
*Later that night*
Kim's POV:
*Kim's phone rings*Kim: "Hello?"
Jack: "Hey Kim, it's Jack."
Kim: "Oh, hey! So did Rosie tell you why she's leaving?"
Jack: "Nope. I was hoping she told you when you guys were hanging out."
Kim: "Yeah, she told me… She over heard us talking but apparently since she was kinda far way she heard you say Josie instead of Rosie. So now she thinks you're asking that girl Josie in our history class."
Jack: "What?! But I'm not! How can I fix this? What can I do?"
Kim: "You don't fix it and you don't do anything. I'll fix it, ok?"
jack: "Ok. Thanks. See you tomorrow!"
Kim: "No problem! See you tomorrow!"
