Donghyuck sat on the couch, peacefully playing video games instead of making the wise decision of studying for a test he had to take first thing in the morning.

"Damn it." he groaned under his breath, the words 'you are dead' displayed across the screen. Sighing, the boy placed the controller on the cushion beside him and whipped out his phone.

He was home alone again, as usual, and told his parents he was gonna study for the test, which was obviously not happening.

Buzz.

crack ass head: can u come over i need a study buddy

The latter rolled his eyes at Mark's text message.

satan: no

crack ass head: look i actually wanna pass senior year so get here asap

satan: wow i didn't know you were that desperate for my ass

crack ass head: u hoe

crack ass head: just come over

satan: horny

Heaving another deep sigh, Donghyuck lifted himself from the comfortableness
of the couch and drove to Mark's house.

He was kindly greeted by Mrs. Lee at the door before he headed up to Mark's room. When he swung the door open, the older was sitting on the floor, papers scattered across the carpet, forming a 'fairy ring' around the boy.

"You're so dramatic, this isn't finals." Donghyuck rolled his eyes, stepping in and closing the door.

Mark didn't lift his eyes from the paper, his glasses resting on the bridge of his nose, and put his hand up, casually flipping off his best friend.

"Shut up."

The two teens began to study, helping each other out here and there, and what I mean by helping is getting into pointless, heated arguments over little things such as the periodic table sign for iron.

"Damn, I won't be able to retain any of this information." Mark laid back onto the paper littered floor, casting his forearm over his eyes.

"Me too." his best friend agreed, slouching back against the edge of Mark's bed which he was leaning against.

"Do you wanna meditate?" the older proposed after a few moments.

"Meditate? Do you think I'm some middle aged woman?"

"It'll get rid of our stress. Come on, I've done it a few times with my mom."

The duo googled a simple meditation exercise on YouTube.

"Find your inner peace." Donghyuck mocked over the soft instrumental music that echoed through the room. He was sitting criss cross, his wrists pressing against his knees, pinching his index fingers and thumbs together.

Mark opened his eyes slightly and slapped his shoulder. "Shut your mouth."

"Oh, I didn't mean to disturb your meditating session Harry Potter."

"For the last fucking time, stop calling me that whenever I wear my glasses."

After a while, the younger actually found it quite settling.

For an unknown reason, he had nothing to think about. Not even his crush on Mark. All he could hear was the sound of his breathing, it reminded him of ocean waves, the way they rise and fall.

It felt like you were asleep but awake at the same time. It was weird, but despite that the boy felt at ease.

After a few moments he opened his eyes, shaking his head a few times, reality engulfing him once again. Mark's eyes flew open soon after.

"How was it?" he asked Donghyuck.

"It was pretty relaxing." the younger admitted, placing his hand on the nape of his neck.

The older scrunched up his nose cutely, his glasses sliding a little down the bridge. Donghyuck's heart melted at the adorable sight, a barely visible smile forming onto his lips.

"We should do that more often." Mark suggested, reclining back onto the carpet.

"Yeah."
