He grabs my hand and softly rubs my hand with his thumb before pulling me into a hug and I rest my face on his neck as he kisses the top of my head. He grabs his suitcase and says "we have to get your stuff, darling" I smile at him and interlock our fingers together and we walk into the hallway and we see Rebekah. She looks to Kol "you're leaving?" He looks down at me smiling "Yes little sister, this little town is full of young vampires aiming to kill and I won't be a part of that" she nods and hugs him before looking at me "you're leaving with him?" I nod "I'd miss him too much if I stay here." She hugs me and I smile when she pulls away "good luck." I nod and Kol speeds us to my house and I open the door with my keys and I step inside and I see my parents and brother look at us and then go back to their conversation and I frown. I clear my throat and say "we're leaving town." They all turn to me "and why is that?" I look to Kol "because Kol's psychotic mother tried to kill him and his family, and we've decided on leaving down maybe we can go to our house in Denver." My parents look at each other and Alec looks at me smiling "I think it's a great idea." My parents frown at him "we just thought we'd settle down here..." my dad says, I frown at him "with all the drama here the vampires here would find a way to kill us" they look at each other and sigh sitting on the couch "okay, let's pack out things" I smile at them. Kol and I walk upstairs and I grab my suitcases and put everything I need into them before walking back downstairs. I hear my dad say "I love you so much, my beautiful wife."

I smile at them and look to Kol and Alec and say "ready?" They nod and we all go to my Range Rover and I get into the driver's seat with Kol in the passenger seat, with my family in the back after putting our suitcases in the trunk I pull out of the driveway and make my way to Denver.
It took so long to arrive I felt like the time was dragging as I drove. "We're finally here" I yell out waking everyone up. They look out the window and gasp

I say laughing We get inside of the house after unloading the trunk, Kol and I walk up to our room and he sets all of our suitcases down on the floor and closes the bedroom door, locking it he comes towards me. He stands in between my legs and takes my face in between his hands and leans down kissing me "I couldn't imagine my mate being anyone else, darling." I blush deeply before staring into his brown eyes before kissing him slowly and pulling away "well, it's a good thing that I would kill anyone who tried to flirt with you" I said getting closer to his face but were interrupted by Kol's phone.
I smirk before looking at my looking at my bookcase that I know has a secret passageway that only I know about, my thoughts are interrupted by Kol touching my arm "you okay, darling? " I look at him intently and know automatically that I can trust him with this so I grab his hand before pushing open the bookcase before looking back at his confused face and I walk us through it and close the bookcase behind us and I guide him down the stairs into the room where I keep track of every supernatural in Mystic Falls

He looks shocked "wait, you're spying on everyone in Mystic Falls?" I frown and shake my head "No, I figured that Elena was lying to me about a year ago so I took matters into my own hands and put two and two together and figured she was hiding something big, so I just installed cameras around town and in the woods"
He looks at me shocked "soo... why are they still here?" I shrug "I honestly have no idea I haven't been here in over a year, so I had no idea what was going on in Mystic Falls until about a month ago." He sighs "darling, why would you do this? this is psychotic" I roll my eyes "welcome to the Dawson family" he sighs and walks up to me before grabbing my face and kissing me
