Chilling

"WELL?" Russell was still shouting due to your lack of response,
"I-Uh-I... Well we were... Um... I just," Ace was clearly flustered and the green on his face grew darker as he blushed intensely,
"We were just, y'know... Chillin'." You piped up in an attempt to save ace from embarrassment but that just made the tension in the room even thicker... Noodle looked at you with a smirk as she raised an eyebrow,
"So the two of you were chilling... Whilst watching Netflix?" She laughed but immediately stopped as soon as Russell shot her 'a look'.

Russ was like a father to Noodle and she looked up to him with utmost respect, so seeing him look disappointed in her made her incredibly upset,
"Well," he began, "who thought it was a good idea to turn the tv to full volume? We have a long day tomorrow!"
"N-none of us!" Ace chimed in before you could respond, D shot him 'a look' in an attempt to mimic Russell and intimidate Ace but he failed and ended up looking constipated which caused Ace to be more confused than ever...

"Then how did it get so loud?" Noodle asked, you were sure it was Stuart but how could you throw him under the bus without any evidence? Besides, he was in charge of the band now and you'd only been here for four months... They'd obviously side with him... Except Ace. You knew he was ride or die for you. You grabbed his hand and squeezed it slightly in an attempt to comfort him,
"I'm sorry everyone..." You spoke up, "I must have leant on the remote by accident. You can go back to sleep now... It won't happen again." Ace smiled at you and he was obviously proud of how confident you were and that you apologised even though he was one hundred percent sure that you had nothing to do with the event.

Everyone retired back to their rooms except you and Ace. 2D had informed you that if the two of you performed any 'funny business' there would be serious consequences. You and Ace laughed at his statement as it was hard to take him seriously with his thick accent and stutter.

For the rest of the night the pair of you talked about anything and everything. You then eventually cuddled up together on the sofa and fell asleep in each other's arms; as you'd done many times before.
