Chapter 7-

Percy's POV

"I learned from the best, and trust me, their pranks were much worse than mine." I say while reliving memories of Travis and Connor Stoll, the two inseparable brothers from the Hermes cabin. One time we pranked Nico by letting the Aphrodie campers give his cabin a 'makeover'. Let's just say I kept being hit by skeletons for about a month. It was worth it though...

"Percy, you just completely zoned out on us. You just looked up to your right like those people having flashbacks on TV. We asked you a question!" Zane says, bringing me away from camp and back to Mako.

"Sorry, I wasn't really listening. I was just thinking about some of the pranks my friends and I used to pull on each other." As I look at the guys on the island, my eye drifts to Rikki and she's doing some weird thing with her hand. I ask her about it, because, why not? "Hey, Rikki, what are you doing with your hand? Is everything alright?"

She looks kind of shocked to see that I noticed her. Will enquires into it as well, "Why were you doing the thing at Percy, Rikki?" What thing? They must all know something I don't.

"I wasn't doing anything, Will. Now, since no one is being killed, I best be off back home." She walks off.

"Wait!" I shout, "How are you going to get back? I can't see a boat, and you seemed really hesitant so swim earlier.."

"I parked my boat on the other side of the island. I'm getting it from there."

"You don't have a--" Rikki cuts Ash off with a scary death glare (it can't rival mine though).

"I'll be going now, have fun guys. Call me of you need anything." She runs off into the forest, away from us all. Well, that was weird. She is obviously hiding something, well what is the most logical thing to do when someone is acting suspicious? You follow them, of course!

Well, I need an excuse to go into the woods...

I've got one! "Guys, I have to pee really badly. I'll just be going in the forest."

"Why can't you just go in the water?" Lewis asks. Do we really have to talk about this?

"Fish swim in there, all day! And you want me to pee in their home? How would you feel if I just peed on your couch?" People just have no respect for the ocean! "I'll be off then."

Once I am in the woods, out of sight, I vapour travel to two meters behind wherever Rikki is. I hear her voice from where I am, so I find a good spot to hide (behind a tree near her), and I politely overhear her conversation. It's not eavesdropping, it's just me casually going for a stroll in the woods and hearing her conversation. Nope, not eavesdropping...

"Emma, I told you, there is something really suspicious about him! He pretended to kill Will as a prank to the rest of the guys, then threatened to kill them! And when I thought he was going to kill Zane, I used my powers on him, but they didn't work!"

Oh, so that was the weird thing she was doing with her hand. She has powers, huh? I wonder what they are. She may even be a demigod! I'll have to ask Grover over to Mako to check. Why doesn't she trust me though? I mean, I know I pulled a sword on her boyfriend and threatened to kill him, but it was just a prank. Will and I found it funny. On second thought, maybe that wasn't the best thing to do to a group of guys I just met and want to befriend...

What can I say? I'm a Seaweed Brain, I don't always make the best decisions under pressure.

And I've lost Rikki. Great. I guess I should just go back to the guys, I'm pretty exhausted after vapour travelling. I just have to do it one more time to get back to the guys.

Once I'm back I announce myself to them, "Hey guys, I'm back. And I'm really tired, so I'll just be sleeping now..."

Sally Jackson's POV

I feel quite bad for Percy, you know, his life constantly being in danger, and losing so many of his friends due to wars and monsters. Which is why I wanted to get away for a while. I want him to have at least a normal, uneventful 2 years in Australia. But with him being a demigod, we can't have normal for too long, can we? Which is why I'm arranging a special surprise for his birthday tomorrow. I want his birthdays to become happy again, and there not to be a war on the same day.

I IM Annabeth and Grover to arrange this 'surprise' for Percy. "O Iris, Goddess of the rainbow, accept my offering and show me Annabeth Chase, Camp Half Blood." I see Annabeth sat on the beach, alone. "Hi Annabeth. Have you got everyone ready for tomorrow? Make sure you're all packed!"

"Oh hi Sally! You surprised me! Yes, they're all ready. I can't believe we're all coming to Australia!" She excitedly says.

"What about seeing Percy?"

"Oh yeah, that too." She says with a laugh. "Seriously, though, we're all really excited. Even Nico, well he says he's dreading it, but we all know he can't wait to see Percy. We're all really grateful that he's shadow travelling us there."

"Aunt Sally!" Cleo shouts from downstairs.

"One second!" I shout back. "I better be going. See you tomorrow Annabeth."
