Sorry for my mistakes
Astrid's p.o.v
I walked out of my school crying I missed my dad so much I went to my favorite tree and and say on the branch
Flash back
*knock on the door*
"Can I come in"my dad said opening the door
"Yeah"i said not know what was gonna happen next
"Look we have to talk"
"Okay what is it" I said scared
"I'm gonna be going away for a while okay but I'll be back"
"But where and when are you come back how long are you gonna be away"i asked as a tear fell down my cheek
"For 7 months"
"You'll be back right and you'll teach me how to skateboard like alway right" I said (when I was little I used to ride a skateboard he gave me it was his when he was little and he would teach me but ever since he was gone I never wanted to ride it ever again so I just hung it on my room as a reminder)
"Yes don't worry it will go by quick"he said smiling and he hugged me
"When are you gonna leave?"
"Tomorrow"
"I'm gonna miss you"i said as I started crying hugging him tight

Time skips
"Goodbye astry" (a/n:nickname I can come up with 😂)
"Bye daddy"i said hugging him and crying
"Bye sweetie"he said hugging me tightly
"When you come back your gonna have a party" I said a little happy
"Okay" he said and smiled a little to left I ran up to my room and started crying
7 months passed
Me and my mom got the party ready and she was getting dressed with the red dress when she got a phone call and dropped down to her knees crying I went it with my dress
"Mom when's dad-" I got cut off by my mom crying
"Mommy what's wrong?" I asked sitting next to her
"Your dad he's not coming back" she said crying
"What do you mean?" I said breaking my voice
"Your daddy is somewhere better" he said
"Oh when is he coming back" I said
"I don't know" she said still crying I went to her and hugged her I didn't understand her 5 years passed and my mom wanted to talk to me
"Sweetie"she said opening the door
"Yeah" I said
"Remember when I was crying and you came to asked when dad was coming back"
"Yeah I didn't really understand what you were trying to say"
"Well it's because you are little and you didn't know what death was" she said a tear fell
"Mom wh-what do you mean" I said as my voice was breaking
"Your dad had passed away"she said crying
"N-no it can be he's coming back" I said but knowing that he was gone
"I'm sorry sweetie" she said hugging me I cried and cried and I couldn't stop I laid down and she left I stood up dropped all my things and making a mess I just could handle it I fell to my knees and cried more but eventually I got over it and when i was cleaning I saw the skateboard I couldn't handle but cry and hugging it I was sick off crying so I promised I won't let anyone push me around
End of flash back
