For the past six years, Jisung has always been by Taeyong's side. Laughing, hanging out, and just being his true self. Taeyong was his first and only friend when he moved from America to Korea. Yeah, Jisung met new people and became friends with them, but no one could replace the Taeyong.
But apparently Jisung could be replaced.
"Aaaaand Park Jisung. There. We can always find more members later." Taeyong threw down his pen and looked up at the seventeen other boys standing in front of him. "Since we are a group now we're going to need a group name... any suggestions?" Taeyong looked around the room of boys. "What about NCT? You know, it would stand for Neo Culture Technology?" A younger boy said quietly, but loud enough so Taeyong could hear. "Does anyone dislike Renjun's proposal? No? Okay then, our group name shall be NCT."
Most of the group left soon after, leaving five boys named Lucas, Mark, Jaemin, Chenle, and of course Taeyong.
"Lucas try to get some more Chinese members." Taeyong told. "We already have 18 members Taeyong." Jaemin muttered. "And what about your friend. Han Jisung is it? Are you going to add him into the group? We could use another American member anyway." Jaemin suggested. "No. Jisung will not be in this group. Not now, not ever." Taeyong bluntly stated. "But isn't Jisung basically another version of Mark? And Mark is really talented and cute and you really se-" "Chenle no! Jisung doesn't belong here."

The next day Jisung did his normal routine. He skipped to his locker, grabbed his stuff, and went to find Taeyong. Taeyong was talking to Mark and Jaemin. This wasn't shocking to Jisung because Mark and Jaemin were Taeyong's childhood friends. Jisung skipped over to the brunette."Hey Taeyong! Hi Mark! Hello Jaemin!" "Hi Jisung." Jaemin smiled. Jaemin was Jisung's only other friend. Jisung never really liked Mark but chose to be nice to him anyway.
Hey Jisung... Can I talk to you for a moment?" Taeyong pointed over by a set of lockers where no one was standing. "S-Sure." The boys walked over to the spot, Jisung watching Jaemin's normally happy smile turn into a frown in a matter of seconds. "What's up?" "Look... I don't think we should be friends anymore. Talk to Jaemin all you want, he still cares about you dearly, but don't talk to me. I gotta go." Taeyong stood up and walked away. Jaemin sighing and putting his head down as he followed. Mark looked back at the teared up boy for a few seconds, but soon walked away too.
Jisung kept his head down through the hallways, tears streaming down his face. Jisung didn't want to talk to Jaemin, seeing he's friends with the guy that just gave up a six year friendship without warning. Then a boy who was running through the hallways bumped into him, making all his books and papers go everywhere.
"I am so so so so so sor- Hey are you okay?"
