Familiar surrondings flew by as my aunt and I drove past the streets of Melbourne, Australia.

It made me think of him though.

Michael Clifford was his name.

We had the relationship everyone wished for.

The classic Romeo & Juliet love.

You know, without the casual dying. Although, we did have the unmistakable parent troubles.

My father, He hated Michael.

He thought Michael was the worst inflence.

But you see,

I was a litle rebel myself.

Just i never disappointed my father.

He was the best man.

My mother died when I was a child.

Her past caught up to her and got the best of her and my father was the only man to guide me when she left.

Never has there been a problem with me and my father.

Until I chose to date the sweetest man alive.

The lectures came and went.

So i figured out how horrible I was beginning to seem like to my father.

So then,

I broke it.

I broke everything that i had built with Michael.

2 weeks after the breakup,

I heard that a certain temporary band Michael took part in, was getting signed.

He kept tweeting about how amazing it was.

And gradually they got even more popular.

I was friends with everybody in the band, we were like a little clique.

Other than Michael,

Calum was my closest friend. He took interest in a girl once and never grew a pair to talk to her. So eventually I did, and we became really good friends.

I told Calum and he told me I was 'hogging' her. But they met properly without my help, and did coupley things but never made it official. I think when he went on their first tour the kept in contact but she stayed in Melbourne.

"Lexi?"

"Hm?"

"We're here."

I looked around and saw the small familiar house my aunt lived in.

Without any other exchange of words,

I hopped out of the car and grabbed the one suitcase I had to bring.

I missed this place personally.

I stayed here when my dad had work when I was in primary school.

Michael actually lived across the street.

I wonder how bad I would feel if I visited his mother.

He shouldn't be in Melbourne at the moment.

Calum tweeted a few days ago that the tour ha come to an end and they were planning on staying in London for a few. Hanging with the One Direction boys that practically got them famous.

"Hey, I think I'm gonna go visit Ms. Clifford for a few."

"Okay, but be back in a few hours because I have a belated 18th birthday gift for you"

"Ok, I love you." I said as I rolled my bag into the hallway of her home and walked over too the all too familiar Clifford home.

I cautiously knocked on the door.

A bright face answered it.

"Lexi! It's been too long."

"Karen! oh my gosh you haven't aged a day."

"What bring you back to Melbourne?"

"My dad recently passed away."

"Oh dear- Here come on in. Would you like some tea? I still have your favorite."

"Oh yes please! America doesn't sell it sadly." I said as I followed Ms.Clifford into her kitchen.

She talked as she breathlessly heated up some water on her gas stove.

" How did David die?"

"He um...He hung himself.."

"Oh darling I'm so sorry."

"It's ok. I think I've taken enough sympathy in the last 48 hrs. Anyways, How are you and Michael?"

"Well him and that band have made it far."

"Yep, I hear them on the radio now."

"Oh really? I'm too lazy to listen to music on the way to work. I just like peace and quite."

"The album they released is pretty amazing; I remember listening to them live in your garage."

"Michael loves it."

Shuffling of footsteps glided their way in the wooden hallway beside the kitchen.

"Do you have guests because I can leave..?"

"Oh no dear your fine it's just M-"

"Alexia?"

I turned to the raspy voice that belonged to the one and only purple Haired boy.

"Michael?"

I started to panic.

"Hey Karen. I think it's time I go. My aunt plans on giving me a belated birthday gift. I do look forward I having tea with you next time although."

"Ok dear." She gave a sympathetic smile.

I turned on my heel and scurried out of the house.

"Alexia!"

"Lexi!"

"Punkie!"

I cringed at Michaels old nickname for me.

"What do you need Michael..?" I asked spinning in the middle of the road.

"I missed you."

Flashbacks of what we used to do together clouded my mind.

"Yeah...well.. I'm not really doing great at the moment and I don't think I can handle a lot."

A familiar brunette called from Michaels door.

"Mikey?! Come back and watch the movie."

Why was Kiara at mikes house?

"Anyways, a lot of people are missed mike."

I pushed a strand of hair back and walked back into my aunts.

"It's late, I know. But you've never had a phone andddd."

My aunt opened a gift box revealing a iPhone 5s.

"Thank you." I mumbled into the cardigan on her chest as I hugged her tightly.
