.:Two:. Getting to know me and my friends

I woke up at around 9am. That was my usual time of waking up. I got ready and headed to university.

I was 22 and was taking a course for Art and design. I have always wished to be any type of artist. I thought it was very freeing and it let me think about how I viewed life. Lots of my family members think my art work is depressing and sad. My older brother Liam, on the other hand, thought it was very relatable. Liam said it was great and I should stick to trying to be an artist.

My mum, dad and younger sister, Sarah, keep telling me to "get a life" or "be something that would actually get you somewhere" that was partly the reason why I moved out of my family house in Ohio when I was 17. Sarah is 19 and is a doctor in Pittsburgh and has a boyfriend. Her life is pretty much great. She gets on my back all the time because I'm older than her and still don't have a boyfriend. Liam who is 25, Lives in Cleveland in a really nice house with his fiancé, Amelia. Everyone's lives are pretty good apart from mine.

I still live in Columbus, Ohio in an old arty-styled apartment/Loft (picture above). I love it because I get a beautiful view of the city but it does get annoying at night because the street lamp is right next to my window so I get a bright yellow light shining in from behind my blind in my bedroom.

My best friend, Alex, lives in the apartment next door to me. We've been friends since I moved here. He works down at the local music store and his favourite instrument is the drums; much like Josh.

He has hair that is almost black and a lip piercing. Alex has always seemed intimidating to the public but when you spend more than a day with him, you'll start to understand that he's actually a great guy.
He is very understanding and kind about it in every single way.

Alex's mum and dad had to put him up for adoption when he was 14 because they didn't have much money and they couldn't afford to look after him. Not long after that, his parents got a divorce which didn't make matters better.

He told me that not a lot of people wanted to adopt him because he was a teenager and people don't want to deal with hormones. He decided after 2 years of being in the adopting centre that he would buy a house for himself and get a job. He's made it pretty far since he's 23.
