I got back to the bar and saw everyone laughing and talking then seanmhair came to me and dragged me upstairs.
"Grandma, hold on!" I laughed and she gave me a smile then I saw the wedding planner Kusanagi hired for Misaki and I.
"So, I've decided on colors for the wedding: blue, red, and copper." He said and I smiled then nodded once.
"I like it. I'd need to ask him-"
"Already done. He says he wants to leave it all to us." Mr Lee said and I nodded then sighed.
"Well, I like the colors but I think a white wedding-"
"Is so bland!" He said then I smiled.
"Then a red wedding?" I offered and he smiled.
"I can plan that." He said and I nodded then someone knocked on the door and we looked to see Misaki.
"Oh, is it time?" I asked and he nodded then stuffed his hands in his pockets.
"I have to go, seanmhair. Can you-"
"Go, I be okay." She said and I nodded then kissed her head then went to Misaki and he kissed me but I went upstairs to get dressed really quick.
I went downstairs and saw Misaki in a black button down shirt, some slacks, and some nice shoes. His hair was loose but he didn't have a hat on either. I smiled as everyone stared then I went towards them when Rikio lifted my black coat and I slid it on.
"Thanks."
"Of course. Have fun." He smiled and we left but Misaki grabbed my hand then I felt his finger play with the ring.
"What is it?" I asked and he shook his head as he smiled.
"Never thought I'd be engaged to you." He said and I smiled then we got to the restaurant and went in. Turns out the owner owed Mikoto a favor but since he's gone, he paid it to us. We get a table and a free meal and his debt is paid. We went in and the man smiled at us as a woman took my coat for me.
"Right this way." He led us to a table in the corner then we ordered drinks and I smiled at Misaki.
"What's this even for? We're engaged, we'll be married soon, and we have the perfect family." I said and he nodded.
"I know. There's one thing we're missing though." He said and looked at the door then I turned and smiled as I saw Fushimi. He wore a white button down with black pants and some nice shoes. He sat in the chair to my left then I smiled at him.
"Any other surprises?" I asked and Misaki laughed.
"No, unless he has one." Fushimi shook his head and I laughed then we got dinner and it was just like old times but this time, we were more relaxed and laughed more.
"Thank you for inviting me, Yata." Fushimi said and Misaki nodded then smiled at me.
"Saruhiko, we have a question for you." I said and he lifted an eyebrow.
"We'd like to know if you would want to be Misaki's best man for the wedding. We understand if you say no-"
"I'd love to." He said and I smiled as he grabbed my hand then he grabbed Misaki's and I eyed our friend.
"Even if I care for you, I know that he loves you more than I ever could. I'm happy for you both, all I want is for you to be happy and you are when you're together." He said and I smiled at him.
"Thank you, Fushimi." I said and we soon left but before we went to the bar, Fushimi stopped me.
"Listen, I know you love Yata and he loves you. I love you too but... I don't love you as much as him. All I ask is you don't hurt him." He said and I smiled then brushed his hair back.
"Never." I said and hugged him then went to Misaki, who stood five feet away. I heard Fushimi leave then grabbed Misaki's hand and he eyed me.
"What was that?" He asked and I smiled at him then gently kissed him, making his eyes widen slightly.
"It was just him telling me a secret." I said and he nodded then we kept walking but I loved the feel of the crisp fall air that bit at my cheeks. A red, winter wedding, how odd. Well, no one said our family was normal.
