Cole's POV
It's been 2 days since the attack. Every wolf has lost someone they know or love. It has been hard.
In total we lost 63 wolves, 16 were females, 43 males and 4 elders. Today, as a pack we will host a memorial for all the lives lost.
I haven't seen Scott and Scarlett barely talks to me. They are both broken. Chelsea was so much more to them than I'd realised.
The pack gardens are covered in white flowers and seats. Every single pack member has taken a seat. They all have black clothes and tissues.
I watched as Scott walked up to the back of the stage where I was. His eyes were lifeless. They had massive dark rings under them. His beard had started grow and his skin was grey.
'I'm so sorry for your loss Scott.'
His eyes met mine.
'It hurts, a lot. But I know Chelsea will always be with me.' I sent him a sad smile.
Then I watched as Scarlett walked down the parting between the chairs. She gave her condolences to all the wolves and hugged a few of the wolves who were crying.
Her hand slipped in mine as she gave it a slight squeeze.
'Scarlett. I really don't know what to say. I am so sorry for your loss.' Her eyes are slightly brighter than Scott's but she still looks rough.
'It's ok. I miss her a lot but there isn't anything I can do now. I have avenged her death and I will give my speech today. I just want the pain to stop.' I held her close to me as she let a few tears fall from her eyes.
The music began to play and that was our queue to walk on. Scarlett sorted herself out and we stepped onto the stage hand in hand.
All over the stage were pictures of the fallen wolves. Their bodies were buried yesterday, but today was more important than their burial.
I watched as Scarlett opened her hand. Lighting all the candle around the stage.
The family members of the lost wolves all stood up and gave a speech. It was now Chelsea's memorial time.
She went last because she was beta female.
Scott went first.
'I hadn't had long with my mate. However, I loved her more than life itself. Chelsea gave her life to save this pack, to save her family. She will be missed so much. Chels just remember that we all love you, that I love you.' Scott wiped a few stray tears and walked off the stage.
It was now Scarlett's turn.
'Everyone in this pack has lost so much. Chelsea was such a bright light. And now that she is gone, the world has become slightly darker. Chels if you can here me. As my best friend and sister from another mister please forgive me. I just wanted to say I am sorry for not saving you. But I love you so much. My life will never be the same.'
Scarlett's eyes began to glow again. Soft white snow fell from the sky. Everyone looked up in shock and awe. I walked up to Scarlett and intertwined my fingers with hers.
The snow covered the floor. It was wonderful. The perfect send off for the most amazing wolves in the world.
So peaceful. It was as if they were really here.  And nothing could stop us now.
