Chapter 16 - Lost

I woke up to music playing. Of course, it was my alarm. Gold Snafu by Sticky Fingers was playing. I stayed in bed till the song finished. I checked the time "6:30" it said. Poppy and I were going to go for an early morning run. "Poppy. You awake?" I asked, I got no reply. I looked over to her bed, she wasn't there. I got up and walked out into the living room. I saw Jordan still asleep on the couch, so I stayed quiet. I walked into the kitchen and Poppy was sitting at the bench on her phone. "You still wanna go for the run?" I ask her, she shakes her head. "I've already had a shower now. Sorry, I forgot." She said, then looked back at her phone. I went and got ready for my run. Then I grabbed my phone and headphones. I put on my nike running shoes on and went out the door. I put my headphones and put the music on shuffle. "eez-eh" by Kasabian came on, I realised it pretty much explained me perfectly. I ain't easy, but I ain't that bad, no rhyme or reason, I'm just trying to set the world alight, you've got problems, well so have I, And I got the feeling that I'm gonna keep you up all, Gonna keep you up all, Gonna keep you up all night. I kept running, listening to music and just thinking. Then I end up somewhere and don't know where I am. I decide to call Will, he might know where I am. But he hangs up, what a great friend. But then I think about what I did to him, I guess I deserve it. So I call Poppy instead, but she doesn't answer either. She didn't really wanna talk to me this morning, what did I do to her? So I call Jordan, luckily he answers.

J: Hello

A: Hey, I'm lost

J: How are you lost?

A: I went for a run and now I'm lost

J: Why didn't you call Will? He could probably find you

A: I called him he didn't answer

J: What street are you on? I could probably find you

A: *says street name*

J: Okay, I'm coming

A: Thanks

I hung up and kept listening to my music.

JORDAN'S POV:

Alexa called me, she was lost somewhere. I put the street name in google maps and got the directions. It said it would take 30 minutes to walk there. So I grabbed my brown and green striped jumper and went out the door. After about 25 minutes of walking, I got there. I saw looking at her phone. I walked up behind her and put my hands on her waist. She jumped, and almost screamed. "Guess who." I said laughing. She started laughing too. "Jordan Bayani (I don't know his actual last name and I'm to lazy to make one) how dare you scare me like that." She said turning around to look at me. I kept laughing, I couldn't stop. She started laughing too, so people were staring at us. Eventually we stopped laughing and just stood there, looking into eachothers eyes. I couldn't take it, I had to kiss her.

ALEXA'S POV:

We stopped laughing and just looked into eachothers eyes. His eyes, his emerald green eyes. I still haven't got over how perfect they are. My thoughts were interrupted by him kissing me, it was a surprise, but I kissed back.
