Hatred

The dare

Elizabeth's P.O.V 

I was sitting in the grass with elaine, we were playing truth or dare. It was the last day of summer before we both moved back to liones. I was worried about moving back, I am a senior in high school and I don't usually make friends. It's hard for me to make friends, I am very quiet, and shy. I wonder what it will be like to move away from camelot, I liked it here. 

I turned to see prince arthur walking towards elaine and I, we both waved at him. He is pretty kind hearted, nice, and not mean considering he is a prince. Elaine and I have been his friends for a couple of years, we all survived middle school, and high school together. 

He sat down next to us, although he looked really sad. "Arthur what's wrong?" I asked him in a worried tone, he turned to look at elaine and I. 

"I don't want you guys to leave..." He spoke quieter then usual. I looked down at the ground and thought about it for a moment. 

"How about you come with us?" I asked looking up at him with a smile. His eyes widened as he looked in shock between elaine and I. 

He smiled happily and shook his head, "Of course, I can't believe I didn't think about that." He rubbed the back of his head and chuckled lightly. We chuckled with him, after a few more minutes I realized that elaine and I were playing truth or dare. 

"Hey elaine it's your turn," I said turning to face her. She looked at me confused for a moment, then realized what I was talking about. She giggled, got up, sat next to arthur, and whispered something in his ear. He looked at me and thought about something, he had his hand on his chin as he stared at me. 

"Ok, I dare you to dye and cut your hair," elaine said excitedly as she grinned at me. My eyes widened and I thought about it, I have not backed down from a dare so I guess I'll go with it. I smirked at her and began to walk to the hair place, after cutting my hair I asked what colors of hair dye they have. They said that they only had one left, and it was pink I sighed in annoyance. I looked over to see elaine with a wide grin on her face. She knows pink isn't one of my favorite colors, so she might have set this up when they were cutting my hair. 

I nodded and so she died my hair bright pink. I wonder how father will take this, I gasped as I realized that tomorrow I will see father, and my sisters. I don't want to see them though, they didn't want to be around me, so they sent me off to live in camelot. 

Elaine, Arthur, and I all went to dinner, after that we all went home to finish packing. Once I was done packing I laid down on my bed and quickly fell asleep. I woke up to see the sun shining through my windows. I got up and took a shower with the special shampoo for my hair dye. After that I met up with elaine, and arthur at the train station. 

We were all still tired, so after we got on the train we all fell asleep. Elaine fell asleep on my shoulder, Arthur and I fell asleep on the train window. I woke up when the train stopped, my bangs covered one of my eyes. I had troubling seeing for a moment, after that I looked over to see elaine and arthur still sleeping. 

I shook elaine, after she woke up, I shook arthur till he woke up as well. We all got our stuff, left the train, then headed for the castle. 

"I am sorry, only the princess and her friends are allowed to enter." A knight said as he and another kept their swords crossed in front of elaine, diane, and I. 

"I am the third princess of liones, you will let me pass or else there will be repercussions!" I said in an angry tone as I glared at the knight. He sighed and said they same he couldn't let me pass with out proof. I opened my bag and pulled out a royal seal, after I showed it to him he and the other knight sweat dropped. 

They removed their sword quickly and apologized quickly. I put the seal away and continued into the castle, I made it to my room, after setting my stuff down I showed elaine and arthur where they will be staying. Elaine's room was the one on the right, and arthurs was the one on the left. Both of them next to mine made me happy. 

I looked outside to see that it was night time outside, I told arthur and elaine it was time for bed. We don't want to be late on our first day of school. I changed into a white night gown, laid down on my bed, and soon fell asleep. 

The next morning I got up and got dressed, luckily liones royal highschool didn't have uniforms. I sighed in relief, I put on a dark purple short sleeve t-shirt, a dark purple skirt it was kinda short, but my dad is the king so I doubt I will get in trouble. I also put on dark purple long socks with dark purple flats.

I slung my bag over my shoulders, I walked outside my room to see elaine and arthur waiting as well. We all nodded and walked out to the front of the castle, a carriage was waiting for us. We all took a deep breath before entering the carriage. 

We sat in silence for about 10 minutes, after that we all got out and walked up to the school. People were glaring at me, I couldn't understand why. "Hey elaine, why does it look like every one hates me?" I asked as I bowed my head down to try and ignore the glares. 

"I am not sure," she responded to me as she looked around. Arthur did the same, he put his arm around my shoulder and I looked up at him. He gave me a soft, reassuring smile and I fake smiled back. 

We made it to the office to see 7 people all there as well. The moment I looked up they all glared at me, but the short blonde boy. His glare was the most hatred filled then all of them put together. 

"U-um my name is e-elizabeth l-l-liones, these a-are my f-f-fre-," I was cut off by elaine.

"Her name is princess elizabeth liones, we are her friends prince arthur, and I am the holy maiden elaine. We all just transferred here and need our schedules please." Elaine spoke as she held my hand tightly. I was glad that I wasn't the only one who was nervous. 

The lady at the desk nodded as she left for a moment, she came back with our papers. She was also glaring at first, but after hearing my name she smiled softly at me. 

Arthur turned around quickly and glared at everyone. "STOP GLARING AT HER ALREADY SHE HAS DONE NOTHING TO YOU, SO YOU NEED TO STOP GLARING!!" Arthur practically screamed at everyone who were now shocked by the sudden outburst.
